Shanghai Maths – The Shanghai Maths Project Practice Book 5A Paperback – October 1, 2018

Excellent quality book, received it before the estimated delivery date.

This is an excellent maths book for Year 5 in the National Curriculum (and beyond). Each unit is broken down into sections of one lesson each (sometimes we split the lessons and do them over two sessions) and my daughter has really advanced in her maths as a result. We have used this series from Year 1 upwards, and have found it covers everything in the National Curriculum, revisiting topics to give more complete understanding each time. I find it amazing that for less than £10 you can buy workbooks that cover the whole year of Maths thoroughly. I know lots of people haven't done any maths for many years, so object to having to work out the answers since there are none provided (unless you buy the very expensive teacher's books, which I haven't done?). On the other hand, primary school maths isn't rocket science, and calculators are plentiful if you need help to work out answers when marking!

Good book to let kid do some extra work, challenge questions are not easy. My kids always need my help for that.Overall, I think it is very good meterial

I got the 5A book for my daughter. I am quite happy with the exercise book. but It only covers half of the year 5 syllabus. I assume the second part 5b will include the rest of the syllabus? I see you have a book of 5B but with a picture of 5A. Do you sell 5B?

Book itself is ok but as mentioned before, no answers, I would be happy to pay for a download as is the case with some other books when the publisher cannot be bothered to publish an answer book or to include the answers. I haven't got the time to work it all out by myself. Very annoying and should be clearly mentioned that none of the series has answers.
