Black Pearl Classic Round Classic co-polyester tennis string of latest technology, high-tech made in Germany. The large amount of color additives makes this sporty tennis string very lively and explosive. Constant playing characteristics due to high tension maintenance. Perfect for all types of players.TOUCH POWER PRECISE STABLE660 feet Reel One reel of 660 ft strings 16-18 rackets, depending on headsize and stringing pattern.Gauge The higher the gauge number, the thinner the string. Thinner strings offer increased control, power, and a better feel of the ball, but have a tendency to break more often. Thicker strings generally offer more durability, ideal for hard hitters. Racket headsize and stringing pattern are also relevant: Thinner strings are a better choice for a small headsize with many strings, while thicker strings are a better choice for large headsizes and modern spin rackets.Co Polyester Tennis StringsIdeal for the power player looking to maximize spin without sacrificing control. Co-poly tennis strings provide durability, allowing for smaller gauges - a natural choice for hard hitters. Because of decreased slipping, they also work well at a lower tension. Offering fantastic versatility, this string is appropriate for male and female athletes, as well as pro and rec players.OehmsThe initiation of the Oehms brand naturally followed the development and patent of the first profiled poly tennis string, designed by company founder Angelo Oehms, drawing from his experience as an Official Stringer at Wimbledon (1998, 1999, 2001). Oehms products are today crafted with precision in Germany. Direct distribution ensures an unbeatable price-performance ratio!

Very affordable softer poly
Background:- I'm a fairly competitive player who travels across Texas playing in club tournaments for my club team.- I have a fairly heavy baseline game.Review:I'm a string breaker, meaning I go through about a string every other practice. I used to use Babolat RPM and tried out Luxilon Alu Power, and I have to say they're great strings and play very nice. However, the cost is just too high to be burning through $15 strings every few days, in addition to the time I spend restringing my rackets. So I did some research and found OEHMS and their Black Pearl Classic string. Comparing the price alone, a reel of Black Pearl is about 1/4 the price of Babolat RPM and 1/5 the price of Luxilon Alu Power. These are some HUGE savings! But with such cheap strings, there must be some downside, right? Short answer: not really(!), besides a slightly reduced durability. In other words, this is a fantastic value string and you should give it a shot!Long Answer:Ok, so durability wise, these strings are just a tad weaker than the RPM and Alu Power strings I did my comparison with. I didn't do any precise tests, but I noticed that the notches in the string developed a little bit faster; they were deeper at the end of the first practice than the name brand strings. But I'm happy to report that the difference is small and well worth the money you save.In terms of feel, the Black Pearl Classic felt softer compared to the other polys. It's nice for a change to feel something have a little more give on the stringbed. I don't have any arm/elbow/shoulder problems, but if you do, switching from other polys to Black Pearl Classic may help out.Feel usually goes hand in hand with playbility, and that's certainly the case here. These strings have more give and therefore will have more power than stiffer strings (though polys are already considered fairly stiff so the comparison being made here is with other polys). I experimented with tension, and I found that dropping my tension a few pounds really adds to both the feel and the liveliness of this poly. If you prefer a stiff string, then these are not for you.So overall, these strings are budget friendly and play nicely. If you're in the market for new strings, consider trying these and you may just save yourself a lot of money.

Soft strings that seems last
Just started to string my own racquet. Bought these as my starter strings because of the low price and good reviews. I strung my racquets between 51 and 55lb tension and strings feels really soft. I have since removed dampeners from my racquets because I don't feel much vibrations with these strings. Typically I would break strings on my racquet after 2 weeks, but these have lasted over 2 weeks. With these strings I feel like I'm hitting with more power and less spin (might be due to the low tension too). After 2 weeks, these strings seem to have lost a lot of tension as compare to Head Sonic Pro and Luxilon ALU Power. But overall I'm pleased with these strings.

price is right
I am a weekend warrior so telling the subtle differences between very expensive vs middle-of-the-road string is difficult for me. However, for less than $40 /reel of co-poly string, even if it's elasticity only last a few weeks, is still worth it compared to spending $200/reel. This is all assuming you string your own rackets.

good string, terrible packaging
Pretty soft poly, was surprised at how much it stretched when stringing. Strings are very slick, good power, and lots of spin. However, I probably won't buy this again since the cardboard packaging is awful. The string unwinds from the center of the box, and it comes out extremely twisted. I spent about 10-15 min just to unroll enough string to string my racket as I had to constantly untwist the string as it came out of the box. It's too much fussing around just to get some strings out of the box. OEHMS used to use the plastic spool like everyone else but looks like they switch to the cardboard box recently.

Good feeling and good durability for an excellent price
After use this String I can say that it's a good one, mainly for the excellent price. I had some doubts about buying that, but I actually feel happy with this.I play tennis with a lot of top spin and I usually be a string breaker very often. This oehms string had broke after 16 hours, this is very good because another strings had been broken me in less than 10 hours. The sensation of playing is good and the durability is very aceptable considering the price.

What a great string, at a great price
First of all, I am willing to bet the other reviewer has never touched a racket in her/his life!!!!! Unstable??? Nonsense.....I installed the strings couple of days ago and have been elated. Less power but such control. You may want to drop the tension by couple of pounds. I had them string mine at 53 rather my usual 55-56 Lbs.thank you OEHMS. I will string all my 4 rackets with OEHMS.TENNIS Stores take notice, there’s a new game on AMAZON.

Good Co-Poly String
Some soft Co-Poly strings are similar to synthetic gut but this one provides spin, control and comfortable firmness. Similar to Wilson Revolve Spin but not quite as crisp.

Amazing quality
Amazing tennis string for use. This lasts for 5 to 6 heavy hits. Although the way it is paced is clumsy, but at least it's good for environment as it is not in plastic.

Top Saite(n), top Preis
