First Manufacturing Men's Vented Jacket with Side Stretch (Black, XX-Large)

Loved the quality and look of this jacket but returned because it didn't fit my body type. I was searching for a new riding jacket and after much debating I purchased this FMC in an XL based on reviews and the look of the jacket. I am between 6' and 6'1" 210lbs, more of a muscular build, wide back and broad shoulders and I found this jacket to be very tight in the back/shoulders and loose in the waist, normally wear size 33 to 34 waist in pants. With the liner out it fit better but still a little snug up top. I didn't want to exchange for a larger size because then it would be even looser in the waist and would look funny and let in a lot of air while riding. I think for more of an average built man this jacket would be a great fit but for me it just wasn't a good fit. I'm still giving it 4 starts due to the quality, finish, and style of the jacket, and the fact that most people would probably find that this jacket fits great. As other reviews have stated, the collar is on the large size but I didn't mind it at all and I was a little worried about the padding on the shoulders and arms looking too bulky but it is much more subtle in person.

Like others have mentioned, it's hard to spend a few hundred bucks on a jacket you are not able to try on when purchasing. Since there is was only 1 picture and 4 reviews when I ordered, that made it even harder. That being said, I know amazon's return policy is great so I went through with it.Arrived in the mail two days after purchase, packaging was well and the leather smells good! Before I ordered I took my chest size (with a light hooded jacket on) and ordered according to the size chart. I am 6ft @ 180lbs and a large fits me just right, enough room for a jacket underneath. It only comes down to my belt line, which will work just fine as long as I don't grow anymore. I bought this jacket with the intent on wearing it while riding a motorcycle, and it seems like it will do great in that respect. I wouldn't wear this any other time than riding though, as it is obviously a biker jacket and not a regular leather jacket.Zippers are all nice and work well (YYK), vents seem well placed and its nice that it has padding on the shoulders, elbows and kidney area. Zipout liner is another plus. I like the side strech idea, it gives you a little more room in the belly area if you need it. The two concealed carry holsters on the inside are really just big pockets located in the front of the inside jacket. With my glock 19, it does buldge out the front and is a bit uncomfortable, I definately wouldn't want to hit the ground with that in my jacket. It's hard to quickly remove the firearm from the pocket as well. Maybe with a small compact pistol you wouldn't have a problem. I most likely will not be using them as a holster, but they serve well as pockets for keys and such. Not a big issue for me either way.All in all, it was well worth the money. Quality is great, and I love the way it looks when wearing it. Most important, I feel safe and comfortable when riding in this jacket. Wouldn't recommend wearing it outside of being on your motorcycle, unless you want to look like a biker without a bike.

I see the reviews are all favorable. And though I agree with what was said, one glaring styling defect needs to be pointed out.Unless you have a 22 or 24 inch neck [mine is 16 inches], the opening in this jacket for your neck will be way too big and won't look right unless you add a couple heavy turtleneck sweaters.It fits me fine everywhere else, in the shoulders, etc. But it looks almost comical to see the huge gap so loose in the neck.I have purchased over a dozen leather motorcycle jackets over the years, and several here on amazon.com. And this one was the ONLY one with a neck opening like this. After owning 16 motorcycles I no longer ride. But I could imagine how drafty this jacket would be with the neck hanging open catching wind like a sail.

Love this jacket, but it also saved my husbands life. Recently he was on his bike at night when a deer came out no where and ran right in front of him. He didnt have enough time to stop and hit it, he was thrown off his bike and went full body on to the road. Aside from his helmet he had this jacket on at the time of the accident. it took a beating but the thick leather and padded chest, back and elbows protected him from way more serious injuries from the gravel and road. I bought this mostly because i liked the style but i am beyond happy to know it protected him from way worse, i highly recommend this product and will absolutely being purchasing this again for him.

I have never felt more at ease with a purchase (very accurate previous reviewers) and the jacket is truly amazing. Live in Washington State so I have only owned synthetics until my wife bought me leather chaps. This jacket fits perfect, 6' and 240 purchased 2XL; normally wear 2XL or XL. Really warm but need a balaclava as it has been 45 degrees of late. Cannot wait for summer to test it on warm weather. Looks great according to peeps I know. I looked at it for several weeks hesitating on the purchase and it was several weeks too long. Well padded and built.

Looks like a good quality jacket. I was pleased with the feel and looks of the jacket. Unfortunately the size is to small even though I ordered the 5x out of an abundance of caution, better to big than to small. After reading the reviews I thought it will be sized small so 5x will be to big I may have to send it back. Well, it was sized closer to a 2x or a small 3x. I read the label several times hoping it was a mistake, I was a 5x no mistake. My jacket I wear now is 3x and worn out, and bigger than this one. If it fit I would have been very happy with the jacket!

Amazing leather and craftsmanship, this model has a nice fit. I’m 5’9” slender w/long arms, size small fits great for riding. Take the liner out for a more casual look. Great value, I paid 75 😲

This jacket was amazing looking and well built for the price. Exceptional value and style. I would recommend it to anyone wanting protection with style. Budget jacket without looking cheap. Does run a little small however.
