Okay product, but will need to replace eventually
I was hoping I could stop looking for soap holders, but no luck. It probably won't last very long. Parts of the metal especially on the bottom end is rusting. The tray is also slightly angled so the soap will slide towards the wall. I do love the fact that it will probably never fall off. I had to pull it off one time because it was crooked and it took a good amount of force to pry it off the tile. Overall, it's an okay for now and still prefer this over the other products on the market.

EXACTLY what I've been waiting for. How about a shampoo/shower gel holder next?
Finally - someone did it! I've been wondering for a number of years now when someone would come up with a simple adhesive plate assembly strong enough to hold a bar of soap. My original OXO spring-loaded suction cup accessories were almost 8 years old and the last of them - the soap dish - finally bit the dust. They were the only suction cups that actually held, as long as you remembered to give them a push once a week. As they were failing I was looking for replacements, none of which were getting decent reviews. So far this soap holder is sticking fast, and I have no reason to think it won't last. I like the minimal footprint, very streamlined compared to my previous ones, and it looks good against my white ceramic tile. I might buy a couple more, in fact, while waiting for someone to run with this and develop a 2-square pkg for holding a lightweight container for shampoo/shower gel. If this one is recommended for up to 5 lbs., that should be the next logical step.UPDATE: This is still on the wall, holding like I put it on yesterday. No sags, wobbles, tilting or rusting.

Won't buy it again
It looks nice and so far, has stayed in place on my bathtub side. The reason I'm only giving it three stars is due to the design of the soap dish. The space at the back, between the last cross piece and the back, is too wide to hold a bar of soap once it's partially used. New bar of soap - no problem; after it's been used and gotten smaller - and I don't mean just a sliver but almost a half bar - it slips through the space and I'm chasing a slippery bar of soap around the bottom of the shower tub. Very annoying. Somebody really wasn't thinking when this was designed.

It works! And rust...Big time!
It works! nothing would stick to the slightly irregular tile, except this.Problem is... after a few weeks, the rust started. The supports (balls) on the frame began to rust and stain the tile. Where ever there was a weld - rust.Update! The wire that holds the soap also began to rust. After 2 months, threw it out!

the use duct tape made for a perfect solution. John
I only have a shower stall with a chair. No place to put the soap. I searched for solution and found two, both involving a rubber cup whose vacuum was supposed to hold the soap tray. All other models included the cup system. Neither one of the cup system I tried worked. I tried to prove on them with duct tape and the result looked ugly and id not last long,I then stumbled on your product and as an engineer (retired) decided you had the right idea. Above all, if the adhesive should fail in time, the use duct tape made for a perfect solution.John Fitzgerald

I will buy a different style next time.
I often wonder if those who design, produce and sell items like this even try them out. This soap holder appeared work great...in the beginning. However, once the bar of soap gets worn to a thinner state, it's easy for it to slip through the curved front, even down directly through the bars.Had it been designed with the bars a little closer and not curved, it would have worked much better.

Yes! An attractive, easy to install and sturdy holder
Awesome. Sticks well (hoping I never need to move it . . .) and (mostly) easy to install. I used a baby level because I'm super picky. Balancing a level on a small bit of plastic is a chore, but it was worth it. Turned out great and looks wonderful. No issues holding the soap, but I have warned the kids against using it as a handle to get out of the tub. I would, without a doubt, purchase this again.

I like it.
I stuck it to my shower tile a month ago and so far so good. I just hope it does peel off easily if/when I move. I realize if I peel it off the back will be ruined, it's very pliable, but, I hope it doesn't leave a residue, or break up, as I'm trying to remove it. In the mean time, I'm liking it a lot. Super easy to put in place, just make sure you've got it straight before you press it onto the tile, it sticks immediately.
