These will let me get a few more years out of my old laptop. Upgrading from 1 to 4 GB or RAM made a tremendous difference in how the system responds. I did run a RAM checker on them, and they passed with flying colors.

I got this RAM to extend the useful life of a Gateway laptop which is long past its prime. It's my only Windows XP machine remaining and I don't want to give it up but MAN is it slow. It had 2GB of RAM so I wanted to double up to its allowable max.Lesson learned: The OS isn't strong enough to take advantage of the full 4GB I bought, so there are only 3GB of effective RAM in action. Oh well, user error.Installation was easy. Product itself works as it should, no problems.

As soon I as installed it (following the simple instructions provided on a 2 minute Youtube video posted by someone unrelated to this product), closed up the computer and booted up, the computer recognized that it had 4 GB instead of 2 GB. Very easy to install, and apparently, easy to work.The most important part is to make sure that this memory is compatible with your computer, which becomes more difficult as a computer ages because manuals and other information gets lost. I installed this on my Toshiba Satellite A205-S4607 laptop.

Upgraded my Macbok from 2007 that had 512 MB of RAM and these puppies gave me the ability to upgrade from OS X 10.5 all the way up to 10.7 (I think is the one I'm on now). I've had these for a couple months now and no issues!

Put this in a Dell Vostro 1500 and it has yet to give me an issue. I upgraded from 2 GB and the difference is mediocre.There is not much in terms of startup speed for programs, but the programs themselves run much faster.This RAM runs cooler than the stock and is far less glitchy.I love it and would recommend to anyone needing an upgrade on an older machine.

This ram isn't 667MHz, it is 800MHz. I know this because I put it into the computer I bought it for, and the computer made the beeping that says the computer doesn't recognize any ram in the computer. I put it into my newer computer that can use 800 MHz, and says that it works fine, and under the specifications, lists the ram as 800MHz. Luckily I needed the ram for that computer as well, so I am not planning on returning it, but I will only give it two stars for the mislabeling. It does work great in my other computer though, so if your computer can use 800MHz ram, by all means it's a good deal.

I would order this for my MacBook Pro again if I needed it. I got a very quick delivery and had no issues at all installing it and using it.I would have ordered 8 GB if I had found the correct number of pins. Definitely something to be aware of when ordering any memory! Research your computer's requirements!
