Fun gadget to have around
I got these for my 10 year old because he can't always break large branches he finds and wants to keep. He can cut them with this gadget safely. It's very satisfying. Would be perfect for backpacking or any camping where you need to find your own wood. Nice that is comes with 2 as it would be easy to lose.

Good but hurts sometimes
I used it to cut up branches. Gets the job done and can carry it anywhere. Works good with relatively thin branches but the thicker ones are trickier.

SURVIVAL SAW
STRONG BUT SEEMS TO BIND WHEN CUTTING GREEN WOOD. BETTER IF WOOD IS DRY. I TRIED IT ON FRESH WOOD AND EVEN WITH 1" DIAMETER GREEN SIDE BRANCH, IT WOULD NOT CUT CLEANLY EXCEPT WITH MUCH EFFORT... EARLIER ONES I HAVE USED SEEMED TO CUT MUCH BETTER WITH BOTH PULL EACH WAY... THIS ONE SEEMS TO BE CUTTING ONLY IN ONE DIRECTION AND THEN HAD TO BE RESET FOR THE NEXT PULL THROUGH. MAY BE TOO LIGHT WEIGHT

Would be an easy 5 except for the end rings
I needed this for one particular job, to cut thru a 3 inch ABS chase pipe, with pipes in it I needed to make sure I didn't cut thru. I did get it very quickly, was a little skeptical as it didn't seem like it was coarse enough to cut thru even HD plastic, but I started in on it. It was cutting pretty well, except into my fingers also. End end rings are square cut rather than rounded like a key ring is, so after not too long a time it became painful. Heavy leather gloves that didn't really fit into the rings make it work, and really, it cut quite well, but it needs rounded end rings not square cut ones. It's a big deal after not too long. But it did cut quite well and for the price? A no brainer if that's what you need.

Tusk trimming
Worked well. Glad it was a 2 pack. I have lil spoiled pigs and one had a tusk that was starting to poke him when he would turn his head. The first broke about 85% through. It was right in the center of the chain(not at the connection for handles or anything). Maybe quality or I thought maybe it was getting too much of a V shape while using it and broke it, IDK. But the other finished the job. They worked great for this task, fast and easy. Hammy tolerated it great just like any other belly rub. Will buy another pack for next time.

Handy for light use camping.
Rinvs little narrow but useable. Wire brokeon one cutting 3 inch oak branch. Teeth dug in and pulling in either direction. Ok on softer wood. For hard wood such as oak or hickory use light strokes low downward pressure . Take time and it will cut.
