It works for.what it is but the shipping too FOREVER. my dad broke his and needed one soon....I should have went somewhere to buy it.

Perfect!!!! Folds nicely!!! Decent quality!! Picks up even the small stuff!!! Got it to give as a gift but had to try it out... Needless to say I don't want to part with it !!

I know better than to buy something so cheap, and I got exactly what I paid for- cheap junk. Save your money, buy better quality.

You can’t expect much for the price. It might pick up light weight items, maybe.

This product arrived broken that's why I don't like

I waited foreverrrrrr to get this. It is for my sister who has issues reaching for things both up or down. She tends to end up falling. This came in a plastic bag with no protection but was not damaged. It folds in half and is easy to unfold. It is very clearly cheaply made. But it works. It is very simple to use and does pick up light things. I would not trust it to pick up anything heavy but I tried it with a cup, a towel, a can, a plastic bottle, and a stuffed animal. The can didn't fit and was a fail but the rest were held and easy to grasp. I picked the cup up by the handle. I tried them all both overhead and on the ground and the grabber worked the same way.There is an On/Off switch to lock the prongs in place and I have no idea why. I guess if you don't want to hold down the handle to retrieve the item, you can lock the claw in place once you have grasped it. But the switch only works now and then and is hard to get to when you are holding the grabber. I wouldn't count on that working.It's not medical grade for sure but it was cheap and is helping my sister to reach for things that she normally would stand on a stool to get or bend down to pick up. If this works out, we will look for a better one for her to use, For now, she is still testing it and has had a few complaints about the claw not grasping smooth things well but in all, she says it has been a help to her.

It's in working condition and was wrapped in plastic, but when I opened it there was dirt and fingerprints all over it. It's like someone used it in the mud and it dried to it. Needless to say, I washed it before using.

Gets the job done.
