Moorhaus D2 Bowie with Leather Sheath

*edited on 11/5/19* I hate to say it but I have to take this knife from 5 stars to 1 star. My first knife developed a crack going completely through the clip point. I contacted customer service, and they replaced the knife without issue or complaint. The one star they recieved is for stellar customer service. The second knife came while I was on the road for work. I got home, unboxed it today, and this second knife has a crack, and an obvious weld spanning about 3 inches of the blade. Take your money elsewhere folks.Great knife! Its huge! And it's pretty sharp out of the box, 3 swiped on my 6000 grit whetstone and I was able to shave with it. Great construction, and the sheath is great! I did have to stretch the strap that holds the knife into the holster so it would fasten. That took about 15 seconds and is my only complaint.

This knife is incredible especially for the price. I've passed up handmade knives similar to this one because of high prices and sometimes marginal and finish. This knife and sheath pair beautifully with my Triple K cowboy gun belt and retains the look I wanted. Absolutely no regrets on this purchase. Will be buying more and the last thing I need is more knives...Gonna ask my wife if I can hang it on the wall when not being used. Very, very impressed, the craftsman should be proud.

This is a beautiful blade. It is well constructed with beautiful details the blade is exquisite and the detail is fantastic, from the fuller on the blade to the ricasso and the beautiful handle and guard. The weight of the blade is perfectly balanced in the hand and is truly a pleasure to hold. A lanyard hole is provided for those who want to use a lanyard. The shape of the handle is perfectly fitted for your hand and the handle shape helps you index the knife perfectly. I love this blade, it is truly a work of art. You'll love owning it too.

Good looking and functional design. Grip contour is comfortable and feels secure. Blade length and balance right for chopping, generous ricasso allows choke-up grip for finer work. Sheath very nice. However, my knife came with a subtle ripple in the cutting edge which made for a two inch dead spot that took me a few hours to flatten out on diamond stones (D2 is hard and slippery stuff). Sorry to ding a nice bowie for a QC issue like that, but it is what it is. I just hated to send it back, so I fixed it myself.

After almost two years of having it i decided to used in a camping day, i cut two small pieces of wood and the blade WAS BROKEN IN THREE PARTS!! Is broken in three parts as the pictures shows... don’t waste your money on this, after some months starts to be rust... i have another knife (MUELA) and isn’t even have rust after 8 years... the worst thing with this one is that the steel is broken like glass in the first use, and hd rust after 3 months, it doesn’t worth the price... VERY BAD QUALITY STEEL, the only good thing is the sheath

I have collected bought traded etc for years.This will be my last.zthis company is out of Texas.Quality is outstanding.Ive seen 1200 dollar knives that DO NOT HAVE THIS QUALITY.IT HAS THE SAME QUALITY AS THE ORIGINAL BRAND WESTERN.IN THE 50S 60S.LEATHER IS ALSO TOP SHELF.ANYTIME YOU WANT A KNIVE..BUY THIS BRAND

This knife is a beast! If you are looking for a monster Bowie Knife...this is it. Fit an finish is great and feels as solid as can be.

This very large Bowie is an awesome weapon. The blade is huge, but the knife feels great in my hand. Th quality is great. I love that it is hardened tool steel. It holds its edge perfectly. The knife arrived sharp as a razor. blade. I was a bit worried, since it is quite a bit less money than other large Bowies, but, WOW, it is a great knive. You will not go wrong wit h this one.
