Did You Think to Pray

I have had these albums previously. They were stolen by a third party several years ago.I am a big fan of Charley's music. I will be looking for other great albums of his for years to come.I know a lot of his songs and enjoy singing along with him all the time.His recent passing is a loss to the country music assiciation. I want to find another gospel album by him that I once had. "SUNDAY MORNING WITH CHARLEY PRIDE"

Great CD and awesome music from my favorite country artist. Highly recommend this collection.

Good collection of all areas of Prides song book!

Again, very impressive compilation here from Sony BGO Records. The only challenge I see with this set is track 13, disc 1 at 1:57 the song fades out for one full second. This has to be a error in the mastering not from original recording. The song "Sun Shine Day" has been in print to disc before. Little dissatisfied considering paying $22 you obviously would want and expect consistent high quality output. I contacted Amazon twice. Requested they pull product to investigate. Curious anyone else pays attention? Amazon issued refund. Still a great package here. Excited for more to come. Great liner notes. Lot of B sides you may have never heard before!

When I purchased this CD a few months ago, it sounded just as good as I expected. I know I'm dating myself here, but my late mama had this on 8-track and I may not have appriciated the meaning of what he sang, but he sounded good. In closing, I would like to encourage anyone reading this review that is not saved to please pick this album up and let God's Spirit pierce your heart and bless your soul like it's never been blessed before.

A "Sunshiny Day" it is with this new release from BGO Records! Four more from one of the greatest country singers of all time who until recently was just a memory heard on vinyl records. Andrew Thomson at Sound Performance remasters each of these Pride albums to perfection. Growing up I heard many of these songs as a young teenager and then longed for the day when they would be released on compact disc. No doubt like many of you who read this review believed it would not happen...but the Beat Goes On and it does not disappoint.Like Charley sang, "It's Gonna Take a Little Bit Longer"...but now the wait is over!

I'm looking forward to taking this with me the next time I visit my mother. These were songs we would listen to together when I was a child.

I am so glad they finally released this album on cd. I suppose I inherited my love for Country, Bluegrass, and Gospel music from my dad. I grew up listening to it because he loved it and played it all the time, either on the radio or on the stereo. I first heard this gospel album when I was visiting my parents in the early 70's and Dad was playing the record on the stereo. I went out and bought myself a copy right away. It has been one of my favorite albums for over 40 years.
