We spend our winter months in Portugal and while there I always buy this product. The rest of the year we sadly live without the Hengstenberg pickles. Usually I can buy a good pickle locally but our local store stopped selling the pickle we liked. My husband suggested that I should check Amazon and to my amazement Amazon has the pickles. These pickles are just so delicious that I may have to reorder soon because our children are loving them too and we are ending up sharing with them.

On second try. First jar not good. Balance are great
A waste of money. Despite reviews, the pickles were, for the most part, mushy and not crunchy. I have tried many different brand of Polish dills and these rank at the bottom. No noticeable “Polish dill” flavor.

Second best pickles in 57 years.
These are a unique flavor. Excellent texture. A little extra dill flavor and a slight sweetness, that reminded me of some my Grandmother pickled. She was from Germany, and these were like her canned bread and butter chips. These were my second favorite Polish pickles, the first of all time was from early 80's with a label that said Polski Wyrob, got them at Kmart. That's been a day or two ago. I will keep searching for that outstanding flavor.
