Extremely difficult to use
We have used the original Callicrate Bander for years with some problems (loops were too small for large testicles) and so were delighted a new version was available. But the new PRO Bander is worse that the original - it simply does not work well in the real world of beef cattle. In the real world bull calves jump and kick and poop on everything leaving the operator of the bander to struggle to work the increasingly hard lever (ratcheting to close the loop) and to attempt to hold on to a handle that is slick with poop. There are no ridges or bumps on the slippery handle to help grip it and the lever action causes the entire bander to rotate - making it almost impossible to complete the banding. The larger loops were better but the system locking them into the bander is flawed - the small hook on the strap that holds the loop in place easily slips off and makes it necessary to start over repeatedly. Very disappointed.

This bander is fantastic. Very easy to use. I've only used it on Boer goats no large livestock.

The No Bull team was awesome in assisting with the order. The product showed up early and it was everything that was advertised. Works GREAT! Couldn't be happier!

It is easier if there are two people. One to pull the testicles back between the legs and one to place the band and tighten.
Works as advertised. I have banded at least 15 six month old to 2 year old bulls with no problems. Put the animal in a squeeze chute with a head gate and it takes one minute tops. Testicles fall off in 20 to 35 days. No more guessing if you have the surgical band at the correct tension. Ends the questions... is the band too loose or too tight? None of my animals experienced health issues and none appeared to be in pain. Works real well on horns also.
