Lander Moab Temperature Resistant Military Drop Protection Case Cover for Apple iPhone Xs/X - Black

The case is solid as you expect from a brand like Lander. When you hold it with your hand the thin edges assures that the phone won’t slip and provides sufficient protection.There is one issue, however, and that is the volume buttons cover. With some other cases you can locate the + - bottoms by just looking at them when you are facing your phone screen but with this one you can’t. Also, when trying to distinguish between the two buttons with your index or thumb the grooves on the buttons and the small gap between the buttons make them feel as one long button. Add to that the buttons take significantly more pressure to be pressed in comparison to other cases.I overlooked this when I first bought it and I’m writing this so that people make note of it when looking for a new case.

Lanyard may seem awkward (or look weird hanging out of your pocket), but it sure comes in handy if you're prone to take pictures in precarious positions -- or if you have butterfingers! The case itself is rock-solid and looks good as new after more than six months of use. Only very minor quibble is that you really need a decent fingernail to get to the mute switch when the case is on. I don't mind one bit, given how durable and protective the case is!

I buy tons of stuff on Amazon and never review anything. This is the first thing I have bought that significantly exceeded my high expectations in every respect. I mean $30 for a case? I have tried most case styles and this one rules! Perfect lanyard, padded but not slippery and somehow, not at all bulky. Cut outs for the buttons so no interference. No screen protector included but no compatibility issues. Awesome case!!!!!

It feels solid, to like a extra layer on your phone. And if you are a mom who always need to have your hands free. The strap is perfect to never misplace it.

I have the older Moab case that has an opening on the lock side in Blue. I saw they made the newer model with the lock covered and decided to buy it, however I received the same older model. The box even shows a picture of the older model. The pictures on the listing on Amazon however clearly show button covers for both the volume and lock buttons. Returning immediately. I’ve attached photos of the old case I received and the pictures on the Amazon listing.

Outstanding feel and look with much needed features such as the temperature regulating materials and the cord which should come in handy when skiing in the winter or during hot summer days. I rarely do reviews but when I come across a product this good, I definitely have to praise those people responsible for building something special, so practical, beautiful and durable. I am a long standing iPhone user and have to say that no other previously bought case comes anywhere near this one. It just feels different all around. The otherwise delicate iPhone X is now looking more like a Swiss army gadget and the picture attached is so that you can be reassured that there is a lip around the front edge of the screen which has become a must for any phone case, in my opinion. I have got delivery of this case just today but already pre-ordered the blue and green versions for the rest of the family. Woohoooo! That says quite a bit when you consider it’s £27/piece but I say it’s money really well spent and more than likely it will outlive the iPhone with flying colours. Big, HUGE thank you Lander!

awesome case. My phone came off my motorbike at 50mph and was ran over several times by cars, lorries etc, now you can’t expect any phone to make it out of that alive, my phone is goosed, but i am truly amazed at how well this case held up to such an impact. Just got a new iPhone so I’ll clean out the case and will be putting it on the new phone!
