I had to add the in-line adapter to make the volume loud enough so that I could hear.I have two problems with the in-line adapter ::1) Adapter is black and so is the mute button.2) It doesn't make any difference how I try to run the wiring from the adapter out of the phone; the adapter always flips over so it is resting with the mute button facing down.One would be far less likely to click the button if it was face up.This is a design flaw as far as I'm concerned.It has only been triggered by accident so far, but that is two inbound customer calls that I lost because they couldn't hear me. I might have to build something to support the in-line adaptor so that the mute button can't be triggered easily.The earphones are comfortable and block out surrounding sound so I can concentrate on the caller.
