My African Grey was the pickiest of eaters. He would only want to eat sunflower seeds or nothing at all. I called FunBirds. Co directly and the wonderful and very well educated customer service representative recommended I get the AVIX Bird Builder and start him on the Harrison's High Potency diet. Within in three days of the Bird builder, he was eating this food up like it was a bowl of sunflower seeds. His feathers came in and his molting and plucking stopped within two weeks. His red tail became vibrant again and he wasn't so agitated by the molting feathers. Great products, great company and very fast and reliable shipping.

I have smaller birds (parakeets) and they are on a seed and pellet diet with fresh foods included daily. This is a great way to supplement their diet without any waste. I mix up a batch and keep it refrigerated, so it lasts a long time. The first time I bought it I noticed the bird's feathers looked more shiny and colorful. I then bought the larger 4 ounce bottle and have been using the mix a few times a week. Since there is no odor, taste or color the birds drink it readily. I would recommend it and will continue to buy the larger bottle now that I know this stuff works.
