Works fine with Windows 10
This is a correction, it works fine with Windows 10. It is still not working with Ubuntu 22.04LTS or RaspiOS. The fault seems to be the Linux software.

Works, but deceiving photo.
So it does work on Windows 10. It will not work with windows 11 becasue it isn't supported. The picture they use for the ad shows a different usb with "appears" to have a chip in it making it more versatile. I gave 4 stars for using a pic of a different usb cable but sending the one pictured in my review.

Great cable. Worked the first time !
Works great. Already had ftdi drivers installed so this unit used them without issue. Was able to detect rig and use chirp to program. Would purchase again if needed.

Don’t!!
The is program wire/cable. Doesn’t work for this radio. Try to used it and you will get info while trying. That’s not supported, need this window and that window. If you don’t know you will feel you just want to return it. But it’s not the radio it’s the cable. RT system have a blue one work great.

Use this on my 8900 D using Chirp. Works fine every time.
