Works well
This was the first solar fountain I've ever bought. I will probably research further for my next purchase. This one works well for the price. The solar panel has to be free of everything for it to work. One little ladybug sitting on the panel will make it stop working, I found that out. My panel faces due south and that's about the only time it works well. Because the panel is flat, it doesn't work that well when the sun is rising or setting, pretty much only between 11am and 3pm. If it's a windy day, the wind will blow the squirting water out of the bird bath and I've had to fill the bird bath up 3-4 times a day because of that and my bird bath is 24" in diameter by 3.5" deep in the middle. The "Fountain" part isn't very stable because it would't suction to my bird bath, so I had to stabilize it with some small rocks.

Efficent & economical
The media could not be loaded. This little solar fountain pump is an efficent little thing as long as the panel is in direct sunlight. I was looking for a low maintenace & economical solar panel for the water fountain at a Nursing Home. This little thing, does that. I expected that it would only work in direct sunlight, on sunny days, and that the little pump filter area would need to be cleaned daily which is all true. For my application, the long cord allows the "residents" the ability to move the "solar" panel around -- being an active participant in the maintance. The pump came with multiple attachments, the "hose" for the water flow fits perfectly onto the solar disc, allowing the water to bubble out. The water flow is strong when the sun is bright & charging the panel fully. For our application the "angels" keep the pump secure, however if you need the "suction cups" on the bottom to do the job you will need to find an alternative way of keeping the pump secure. This little solar panel meets my expecatations. However, having a "battery backup" would allow the fountain to be enjoyed on overcast days.

Great little pump!
The media could not be loaded. Love this little solar fountain pump! My fountain has probably 18” from the pump to the top, so I connected a tube from the pump to the top, fitted the little included extender on it and it has plenty of power. The video shows it with one of the caps attached so that it has a spray. I wonder if the birds would use it as a birdbath? Usually I don’t attach the cap, and just let it bubble, but I wasn’t able to attach two videos. I put the little solar panel on top of the fence when it gets sun all day - the cord is more than long enough.Great little pump, should last a long time. I had the old one for a couple of years. It only died after I forgot to flip over the solar panel when I went on vacation. it ran for ten days even though the fountain was empty of water. So I can’t blame the fountain. This new one I ran for a day with an empty fountain by accident - still worked fine when I filled up the fountain.

Great replacement pump/bubbler for birdbath.
Bought this for a fountain that the original pump died. I needed one with a "remote" solar collector and that the connection would thread through to bottom standpipe to connect to the pump. The pump also needed to be small so it would fit inside the sphere. It works perfectly. It does stop if there are shadow on the panel so I am still in the process of finding the perfect location for the solar panel. I didn't need a tall fountain effect and a simple bubbler is what I wanted, and got, for my Copper Sphere bird bath. I did not attach any of the spray heads, just connected the vertical pipe to the built-in pipe in the sphere. I am hoping to attract both bees and birds with the gently moving water.

Works great in full sun.
This little fountain works great. I am using it in a small container water garden. The cord to the solar panel is long enough that I can place the container on my covered patio and still have the panel out in the sun.If it's overcast, the fountain tends to spout intermittently--that's not really a problem for me since it still keeps the water moving and helps prevent mosquitoes, but when the sun is out, it runs continuously. The fountain head is a little short so the pump needs to be raised up close to the surface. This makes it important to watch the water level in the container closely to ensure it doesn't drop far enough to damage the pump.

Strong little pump
We have several of these little pumps in our fountains, and they seem to work very well, especially for the price. They do need direct sun to work, but that is the point of solar pumps. We have a couple of tall fountains and they seem to bring the water up quite easily even with the added height. I ordered one that did not work and the seller replaced it immediately without question, so I am pleased with this seller. The replacement is working just fine. I have no complaints and am very pleased.I am sorry to say that three days later, this little pump has stopped working and since it is a replacement for my original order, I am not going to order again from this seller. I was very pleased with the pump, as far as its' power, but, if it cannot keep working, it is useless to me. I am sorry this has happened.

Works nicely for small birdbath.
I’ve been pleasantly surprised by this little solar fountain! I have a birdbath so I don’t need anything very strong; this has enough variability in the nozzles that it works fine for me and it could also have a much larger spray. The only reason I haven’t given it 5 stars is that I don’t know how long it will keep working. Note: it really does need full, direct sun to work.

Great little fountain.
I was quite surprised how nice this worked. Unfortunately it was used in a public garden and I’m not sure how often the pot of water went dry. I know it was dry once when I refilled it, it worked fine. I’m not sure how often it went dry. I do not fault the fountain it didn’t last but a month. I was hopeful because it was a great little fountain. I would definitely buy it again if I was to use it in my own yard.
