Absolutely excellent piece of equipment
Arrived within 48 hours excellent, extremely easy to assemble instructions easy to follow if you can read. Had mine completed and ready for use in less than 30 minutes, took it outside filled the chain oil pot then mixed the petrol oil at 25 to 1 as clearly indicated on the bottle filled fuel tank to approx 80 per cent as per instructions (which actually leaves half inch of fuel in bottle) then primed the pump with 7 presses pulled the starter pulls twice to prime all as stated in the instructions then put switch on and pulled pulley once started 1st time absolutely brilliant. Ran the motor for about a minute giving a few gentle revs to lubricate chain and check everything is working especially the emergency brake everything was fine no issues whatsoever.I had two hawthorn tree stems approx 10” thick with branch stalks going away from the main stem I wanted to cut these up in to short and long sections and cross cut sections for drying and turning on my lathe have you heard the saying hot knife through butter WOW this saw was amazing I did two 10” cuts then switched off checked the chain which was slightly loose so tensioned it up again and went on to do another half dozen cuts before retentioning again just to be on the safe side don’t need chain coming off etc these machines a very dangerous pieces of equipment and must be treated with absolute respect I have used these machines before and have a limited amount of working knowledge with them so I can say if your a beginner this is not a jigsaw this is an extremely powerful piece of dangerous equipment so be very careful. From my previous experience working with a machine like this I was wearing the correct ppe equipment especially the special trousers and the saw I was using at the time did kick back on me because the blade hit a piece of imbedded unseen fence wire the saw shot up came down hit my leg and the trousers I was wearing just stopped the blade from taking my leg off but not before cutting my thigh and giving me a really bad bruise so please be very careful as I am. Do not cut towards the floor hitting the ground can cause a kick back so try to lift your wood away from the ground and use a trestle to rest wood on anything you can think of that makes the job safer for you then do it don’t think about it’s your safety that matters. This chainsaw seems to be of excellent quality it works well definitely does the job I want it for and look forward to a long and safe relationship with it and Parker’s the supplier of this machine. I personally would recommend a buy on this item it seems very well made has all the safety aspects needed definitely cuts hardwoods with ease so it’s a buy from me especially at this price and two chains can’t go wrong.

Excellent value
An inexpensive chainsaw for clearing medium size trees. Not Stihl but a very good replacement for anyone wanting a low price, easy to use alternative.

Assembly was a bit tricky
Considering we are in the middle of lockdown this arrived within days of making the order, about which we were extremely pleased.Never having owned a chainsaw before we wanted to make sure we set it up just right. The pictures in the manual when you get to a certain point were not straight forward or clear enough. Once set up though we set about attacking the work to be done. Everything was going really well with the chainsaw making easy work of the overgrown woodland that had become our garden, then the chain came off!!It appeared that tightening the chain was not that easy as it always seemed too loose on the bar. We got it to a satisfactory tension that work could continue but felt that the chain was coming loose too quickly. We fitted the other chain and are waiting for a break in the weather to finish off the bits that need doing. Hoping that with time and more experience these niggles with smooth out.In terms of cutting ability it's great. It made short work of what would otherwise have taken us ages. It's a little heavy to handle, coming in at 5kg, after a while though. Overall, good value for money and seems to do the job.

Good value and appears to be well made
It looks easy to assemble (not done yet) the instruction manual looks easy to follow with step by step photos instead of drawings. It's well put together and sturdy. Safety features appear to be spot on. It's also well packaged and spare parts are easily obtained via Parker Brands website.

Great chainsaw at a fraction of the price of "big brands"
I've had Stihl chainsaws in the past but couldn't justify the price of another of those for the occasional chainsaw use I have now, so decided to try one of these, and must say I'm very impressed at the value for money - assembly was super easy, the chainsaw seems very well made for the price and so far after two days' use can't fault it. Starts easily and cuts well. Only snag I had when setting it up was that I didn't tighten the petrol cap enough so there was a slight leak from that when the tank was full - tightened it more firmly and it has been perfect since then. The included carry bag is handy too !

Brilliant bit of kit
For less than £100 this is an excellent bit of kit. Easy to assemble, starts no bother, cuts perfectly. Feels really well made and looks great.

Value for money
Great little chainsaw. I had been using a Lidl 40v battery model, which was great for trimming branches. However, the battery needed recharging too often. The Parker came with all the tools to assemble it and 2 chains. I recommend reading the manual a few times, prior to assembly. Once ready to assemble, it took me 10 minutes. The chain is sharp so it might be wise to wear gloves during assembly.Thankfully, I had read the manual and had engaged the brake before attempting to start the engine for the first time. The engine started on the 3rd pull and ran at a fairly high revolution, so I hit the kill switch. If the brake hadn't been engaged, the chain would have been rotating and done damage to itself or whatever it contacted.Once I had sorted out the issue with the throttle linkage, it started first pull. The engine requires a 25:1 petrol and 2 stroke oil mix, which obviously doesn't come with the saw, but I wish they had included some chain oil in the package. As I already had a saw, I had some chain oil. The package also includes a fuel mixing bottle. No more stopping to charge batteries!
