Oberto All-Natural Teriyaki Beef Jerky, 3.25 Ounce (Pack of 4)

I love how Oberto makes their products just right. Great taste and chewable, too.

when I am going to be gone for several hours; I prepare a sandwich bag of teriyaki jerky, raisins or dates, and lastly pecans or almonds. And have that for lunch.My favorite jerky used to Be World Kitchens teriyaki; but they do not use as good cuts of meat they used to use so I tried it.One thing I don't like about this jerky, the flavor isva dry rub. I prefee a wet marinade that soaks into the fibers of the meat.I see many people complaining that they like a moister jerky. That moist jerky is not real jerky. That is ground hamburger and not dried completely.A good dry jerky will keep up to a year stuffed in a Ziplock bag.If they don't like dry jerky they certainly would not like the jerky I used to make because I dried my jerky until it was as dry as I could get it.Here is the recipe for the marinade I used on my jerky. I think it had a good balance of fire and sweet.In a bowl mix and stir.1/4 cup (60 ml) teriyaki sauce1/4 cup wine ( optional)1 tsp (5 ml) white pepper1 tsp salt1 tsp tobasco sauce3 tbls (45 ml) brown sugarStir well and put strips of beef in the marinade to soak 8-12 hours. This will marinade 2-2 1/2 pound about 1 kilogram of sliced meat.Try to find adehydrator that you can turn off the fan because the constant air flow will blow many of the spices from the meat.If you cannot turn the fan off place the strips of meat in the oven at the lowest temperature until dried.

Oberto is my favorite brand of jerky. Something about the thickness and quality of meat used seems better than other brands.

Having had Jack Links jerky for a while I picked up this brand during one of Amazon's deals to try it out. While it is nice and the smokey flavour works well, there is a much sweeter flavour to it than Jack Links brand. Personally this puts me off this brand a little although others in my house do like the sweeter flavour.So it really depends what you want in your Teriyaki jerky and if you like it sweet or not.The jerky pieces are a good size though, they definitely give you some big jerky.

This is excellent, very surprised, tender and very flavorful, BUT, 2 weeks later, went to order more and a larger quantity this time, and they raised the price, DOUBLED what I originally paid! No way was I going to pay their current asking price, I even wrote Amazon about it, in case it was a mistake, nope, they just decided to raise the price, the regular flavor is the same price, BUT don't buy the regular flavor. I left a review of that, the same as everyone else thought, don't waste your money on it, but the teriyaki WAS excellent.

I'm not a major consumer of beef jerky but while working certain jobs it came in handy and this brand is by far the best I've ever found. I do not like to eat any meat with fat and it which is very common with jerky, however, Oberto for the most part seems to be using very lean cuts for their product which is why I continued to buy only their brand.

I grew up in Seattle near the Oboy Oberto factory Outlet on Rainier ave and love all of the Oberto snacks. When I need a protein boost, beef for some reason does the trick more so than Salmon or Chicken. The Teriyaki flavor is great and not overpowering. I like this flavor better than the plain beef jerkey. Quality is always great.

I don't know if I got an old pack, off manufacturing day, or what, but it definitely didn't compare to the other flavor I had this week. I had found a bacon flavor and it was absolutely incredible. It is what had me trying this flavor but I am not impressed. I have had other teriyaki flavored beef jerky that was much tastier.
