First of all, I love Fanttik products and was definitely looking forward to reviewing this one. When it comes to gadgets and small tools, Fantiik delivers a lot of bang for the buck!I purchased these cordless electric scissors to cut Amazon boxes for our recycle bin. Here are the pros and cons.The Pros: The style and the colors look great. Their team of designers is next level! Also, it has some nice weight to it. It's not too heavy or not too light. It feels very sturdy and well built. I love the large battery level display on the back. It's bright and easy to read. And the bright white light near the cutting blade makes the items you're cutting easier to see in dim lighting.Lastly, there's a safety button that takes a little time to get used to. But, it's there for good reason. Not only do you have to press the large yellow trigger button to activate the scissors but, also a small round button on the left hand side where your thumb goes. Once you get used to it, you don't have to think about it anymore.There's a well designed 3-speed adjustment knob on the back, which adjusts the rotational speed of the cutting blade. Once you rotate it to the desired position/speed, it securely clicks into place. If you want to cut through a box slowly, put it on slow speed. If you want to cut through a box quickly, put it on high speed. It will cut through a box like butter!The Cons: I only found one con to these electric scissors. They will only cut through single wall cardboard. Which is the cardboard used in the majority of small Amazon items. 9 times out of 10, these are the boxes we need to cut down. However, if we order a larger heavier item with thick cardboard, these electric scissors don't do a good job. It basically states this limitation in the manual. So, standard everyday boxes, no problem! Thick boxes for heavy items, no go.Overall, I think this is a very good product. I highly recommend it, unless you're cutting thick boxes.There's an endless amount of small companies in this small gadget market. However, Fantiik is a step up in quality compared to most of the competition. So, if the Fantiik brand is an option for your next purchase, I highly recommend their products, including this one.

Good all around cutter for light materials although there are ones that seem quite similar for about half the price. Given the item size I can't say I have found the LED light overly useful but maybe someone will have an application it would be.It says fast charging, im happy it is usb C but it is just standard 5V 2A I am not sure how much lower one would normally find a usb device like this.In terms of capabilities, there is a picture of its LED light and it cutting through what is clearly double wall cardboard. Now if it is very light double wall you can cut through it, although you have to push it to do so. Don't expect it to do thicker double wall or anything like costco boxes. The primary feature I dislike is the safety. The safety must be held in to start using the scissors, if you stop pulling the trigger it instantly re-engages. This is particularly annoying if you are left handed based on its placement.Now, while it can do those things it does have a fairly massive problem that applies even to thin single wall cardboard. When cutting something stiff it will get cut by the blade but if you can't spread the pieces they can easily catch on the back. If you are doing straight cuts as soon as you get past the initial bit it will continue without an issue as it will push itself to the side. This might have been something a better deflection system could have fixed but it something that I have run into multiple times.It can cut through things like blister packs quite well, it is generally pretty safe in terms of kids easily hurting themselves (not that a determined one couldn't get a pinky into the blade area). It includes a spare blade but no where to keep it.Overall it is solid i think a better deflector and maybe a bit more realistic expectations are the biggest issues.

With any kind of cutting tool, just make sure you are taking precautions. This does not rotate super fast even on the highest setting. There are three settings I assume based on the material. There is a cover to keep the blade from being exposed and damaged. I am not sure where to buy a replacement blade. The blade provided works pretty well. It is easy to disassemble for maintenance. The blade is secure. The controls are pretty simple to set the right RPM. The device makes pretty smooth cuts so you do not have to really put a ton of pressure. I have yet to hit a point where the blade gets jammed so I am unsure what would happen at that point. The device charges pretty quick and can be used when you are charging if you want. It charges fairly quickly without much issue. There an LED screen on the back to show settings, power level, etc. It is pretty simple to change the setting. I would say this is user friendly. I mostly use this to cut cardboard for my nephew's projects. It actually really nice. It makes clean straight cuts. It moves well and can be handled with one hand. There is also an LED light to show any lines that you are trying to cut. It is not too noisy. Overall this is a good tool to have if you need to cut up leather or cardboard. It does make disposing of cardboard a bit easier since I can cut up the boxes into smaller pieces. I do not have to straight myself with scissors or box cutter. It is easy for maintenance. The light is a nice addition as well. The cuts are clean and effortless.
