Great alternative to lego
This was a Xmas present for my son who absolutely loves them. He has Minecraft Lego and found playing with this just as enjoyable. The blocks are great quality and look great.

easy to use toy, a little pricey
It's a simple toy but keeps my 7 year old daughter entertained for long periods. There are a good number of blocks but could do with being a bit bigger. Price point is pretty hefty when there's no offer, however, when on a half price offer it provides reasonable value for money. Easy to use and suitable for ages 3+

offers great opportunities for creativity and helps my son with focus and dexterity
Ordered for my 5-year-old son, who is on the autism spectrum, and overall, it’s been a great addition to his toy collection. The set includes 111 pieces, which provide endless opportunities for creative play. The magnetic strength is impressive, with 8 magnets per block that ensure the structures stay intact even during more active play sessions. My son loves building different shapes and structures, and the magnetic blocks hold up well, making it a satisfying experience for him.The vibrant colours and high-resolution patterns on each block really stand out, keeping my son engaged for long periods. The visual clarity and the variety of pieces allow for both simple and intricate designs, which means he can start with something basic and gradually work up to more complex structures as his skills grow. He enjoys the process of figuring out how the pieces fit together, and it seems to have a calming effect on him. The colors also help him focus and develop fine motor skills, which is a big plus for us.However, there are a few downsides. While the building guide is helpful for suggesting new ideas, some of the instructions feel a bit too complex for younger children. It can be difficult for my son to follow the step-by-step guides, especially when the designs become intricate. The pieces are also relatively small, which is fine for older children, but I do have to watch him closely to make sure he doesn’t accidentally swallow one, as they’re small enough to pose a choking hazard.Another minor issue is that the blocks don’t seem to connect as tightly as some other magnetic toys we’ve tried. While the magnets are strong, certain designs can be a bit fragile, and sometimes they fall apart when moved or tilted. This can be a bit frustrating, especially if my son has spent a lot of time building something only for it to collapse.Although it is a fun and educational toy for toddlers and young children. It offers great opportunities for creativity and helps my son with focus and dexterity. While there are a few issues with complexity and stability, the set is still a fantastic tool for building, learning, and play. I would recommend it for kids who enjoy hands-on activities and are looking for a way to develop both their cognitive and motor skills.

Fun for all the family 🧱
The media could not be loaded. This set of magnetic building blocks would make a great gift. You get a large set of blocks and a carry bag. The blocks have a Minecraft theme to them with characters too. You can build scenes to play with or just keep creating. They stack really easily and allow your imagination to go wild. My 9 year old who is very grown up still plays with these and even her 20 year old sister joins in as they are so much fun. Really good for travelling with the added bonus they don’t really get dropped on the floor because of the magnets!!Brilliant set for all the family!

Versatile Display for Miniatures
I ordered these to use with miniatures I like to display and play around with. I often use them for photoshoots.I was curious how these would be printed, I thought they might be covered in card that would wear quickly, especially considering the price. Having received them, I can see they've been printed using dye sublimation, so the colours are bright and pretty sharp. The printing should last since it's sublimated into the plastic with a satin finish, bonus points for that. They have magnets in each corner, so they stick together well in any direction. You can even stick them together diagonally, which is great for display. They're roughly 25mm/1" cubed, curiously, the translucent blocks in the range are smaller, 20mm/0.8" cubed. They still stick to each other ok, but, of course, they don't match up properly.Price-wise, for their versatility and playability, for adults and children, it's fair, especially since the printing is so good. I'm particularly happy with the printing, it makes a change from traditional building blocks.I like to keep a few on my desk to play around with and use them for displaying different characters in different scenarios, including at Christmas and Halloween. They also photograph well, due to the non-glossy finish and sharp printing. I would have preferred a mesh storage bag to the plastic one they come with because it doesn't flex well for storing cubes.

Gleamkid Magnetic Blocks…clever and fun!
I’ve been playing with these magnets building blocks with my three year old grandson and we’ve had a lot of fun with them! They have magnets inside that join any block on any side (you don’t need to worry about polarity) so it’s easy for little ones to start making something. You need a bit of imagination to make something like a house, so my grandson found that a bit tricky. Older children might be more able to build specific things with them but I think they may find them a but limiting; I would guess they are most suited to the four to six year old age range, possibly up to eight years. The strength of the magnets is about right, I would have like then a bit stronger maybe but then again, that might risk pinching little fingers. The blocks are more for quick construction and making into random forms; very different from the Lego style blocks in the way you use them and because they are not strongly fixed but my grandson certainly appreciated the speed I could make something for him to the knock down, we had lots of fun!
