MERES 3ft 1M 5V USB to DC12V Power Supply Cable for Amazon Echo Spot/Echo Dot 3rd Gen/Echo Show 5 Power Supply Cord

I bought this to economize the power plugs on a combined ac/usb outlet for use with my Amazon Spot. I plugged it in immediately after receiving it and it works fine. That freed up one of my ac outlets for vacuuming and the like. The usb plug is a bit longer than the stamdard but it’s not an issue for me.

This cable does what we wanted it to - attaches to USB for another device and enables us to move our Echo Spot around rather than having it stuck in one place. The cable is a bit short, but works how we expected it to.

I plugged this cable into my Echo 1st generation. There was a "pop" sound, and the blue light on the Echo flashed for a second, and now my Echo doesn't power on! The cable also is no longer working to power any other Echos. I tried it, thinking it was the Echo that was faulty (not the cable.) DO NOT BUY!

I have outlets with built in ISB plugs so I purchased this for an Echo Dot Gen3 to eliminate the poer cube and it works perfectly.

I originally had purchased a battery base for my Echo, but it is no longer holding a charge so I need another option. I like this option because it attaches to any dual USB port power bank. If one power bank stops working, just plug in another one! The issue I have is that the connection between the 2 cables is not tight and they keep disconnecting. I literally electrical taped them together to try to keep them from coming apart, but it is not an elegant solution. Unfortunately, I did not notice this until the return period ended, so I am stuck with it.

I bought this and it took some time to get it. However, it works perfectly with my Echo and now I can use it with portability. I already have a battery pack so this is a no brainer!

Had a fire 7 tablet in the wall with its in-wall USB power supply untill somebody hacked into it. Replaced the F7T with an echo show 5 and this let me plug it right in since the power was the same on both sides of the connection. Nobody has hacked into the ES5 yet.

Works great with echo gen. 2. Does not work with the mission charger base.

Does what it's supposed to do. I'm able to make my Alexa portable and wireless. That's exactly what I wanted it for. Good product, thank you.

This will power up the Echo Dot Gen 3 and it will run the clock and music at a low level, however once you raise the volume of music it will reboot itself on an annoyingly regular basis. There is not enough power to have Alexa read the news or any other internet information requests. It is a shame because obtaining a replica power source from Amazon is worse than hopeless.

Power was cut off every few seconds when playing at 50% volumes or above, my usb meter showed less than 5w consumed before cut off, does not make sense as the usb port is capable of providing more than 12w of power.

Works with my Amazon Echo Spot. No issues so far.
