Impressive cleaning, quiet and easy to use
I’ve used the Eufy Omni S1 for about 8 hours so far, and I’m really impressed. It cleans the floor very well, even in a small house like mine. The mopping performance is even better than I expected, which is a great bonus. The app is easy and intuitive to use.The robot is a little noisy, but honestly, from other reviews I was expecting much more noise. I can watch TV comfortably while it’s hoovering at the lightest power setting. Usually when I set it to maximum power, I prefer to have it clean when I’m not at home, but that’s just because it’s easier. For me, the noise at lower power is not a big deal.Setting it up was a bit challenging for me, as I had to split my Wi-Fi to 2.4GHz to get it connected. I’m not great with technology, but I managed to figure it out in the end.The soap, brushes and dust bag are still in good condition after these first hours of use, which is great. The only small issue I’ve noticed is that the robot doesn’t always get very close to the walls, so a bit of dust might be left along the edges, but nothing major. Also, it would be amazing to be able to adjust a cleaning section from the app even after a session has already started, without needing the robot to return to the station and start over. One more thing to mention is that I have a small metal floor divider between my bathroom and hallway, and unfortunately it seems just a bit too high for the robot to pass over on its own. So for that room, I have to help it manually.Overall, it’s a fantastic cleaning robot and I’m very happy with the purchase.

Game changer
We have 55 Square meters of hard flooring, plus a puppy. Cleaning was an ongoing issue, time wise and effort wise. We have had the S1 under a week and wish we'd have bought it ages ago.We did a lot of research on which was considered amongst the best, after all you don't want to pay all that money and regret it! Eufy came out on top in all of them I think, and we initially looked at the X10 Pro, but the S1 came up on Amazon at the same price so we researched both. We ended up watching the X10 Pro, S1 and S1 pro on some guy's you tube review, he did a compare and showed them working on the same area with the same mess. The S1 won hands down, even over the more expensive S1 pro.I would say it is around the same size a bulky vacuum, so bear that in mind when deciding where to keep it, but for me, the fact that it vacuums and mops - and easily gets up little paw prints is brilliant- we set it up to work at night and when we get up, the floors clean.Noise wise, it's at its loudest when it goes back to the base to empty itself, the actual clean and mop isn't overly noisy.

Helps me a lot
Ideal for my needs considering I have limited mobility and now I can use that energy and ability for more enjoyable things. In a small 1 level apartment with lots of places for this little fellow to get stuck and confused, so far he only did this once - in a corner, with a bed leg, 3 cables, a small transformer, and a carpet sample square under the leg's wheel. I was asking for it really. It has no problem finding the charging station. It copes with around the armchairs, and dining table, around me on my office chair and under the desk (as always I have to move my feet). Yes the edges aren't perfect, but this makes the overall task managed. For years the carpet has only seen Henry, so it has become flat and not has a beater bar on it. This made a noticeable difference and collected loads of old cat hair the Henry had just matted down and left behind I guess.Soon the carpets are being replaced and some LVT is being put in, so I will report back on how it copes with new carpet and the whole hard floor and mopping side of it.So far I am really happy with this model, I do not need all the bells and whistles. In a larger home and a variety of areas with differing traffic and uses, then I would go for one with the whole mapping aspect, it would be useful and more efficient I expect.

Works well and fascinating to see how it manoeuvres
Love this but takes a little while to fathom all the parts. Unfortunately this model does not wet mop as I made a mistake and ordered the wrong model. Saves a lot of effort for anyone like me with back pain.

Works perfectly so far
My main concern with buying this product was the reports that I had read on the internet that it was quite noisy, I can categorically state that the robot vacuum cleaner is quiet. Yes you can hear it working but it is no more intrusive than having a tv or radio on in the background. Yes when it returns to the base station for emptying it makes a noise similar to a powerful hoover but only for about ten seconds. On first startup it took about twenty minutes to map the ground floor of my house, reportedly 65m2, after that it then mopped or swept the entire area taking about 65 minutes. Since the initial clean I have added custom cleaning scenarios to the programme (very easy to do) so that on a daily basis it now takes about 30 minutes to clean the areas of high traffic all completely automated. Since receiving the cleaner a week ago I haven’t had to do anything other than start the programme via the app, that’s in a house with a spaniel and two preschool grandchildren. I expect that I will have to re-fill the water tank next week. This thing is brilliant.

Only worked for 30 mins
Worked for about half an hour. Now the base station is completely dead. Customer service quoting 7 working days for replacement and can’t give me an exact delivery date. Doesn’t seem to be a priority for them given I could order a new one and have it delivered in half the time. No explanation for the faulty base which now seems to be full of water. Shame as it looked really good for the half hour it workedUpdate-item was picked up next day by Amazon who are now quoting up to 30 days to return my £750 for an item that was clearly delivered faulty. Don’t buy this item from an Amazon and Anchor Direct (Eufy) as you have no control over return and refund. Apparently it’s standard for high value items even if they are delivered faulty. Hoover currently sitting in a UPS carrier facility going nowhere fast. Suspect they are using a cheap return method at my expense.
