Apple Corers Cutter

Awesome product! I love that its decently compact and can do multiple things! I use the tomato slicer for olives, kiwi’s, hard boiled eggs! It has so many great uses!!I have noticed that the Mango Slicer is not incredibly sharp and does smash my mango’s a lot before it even starts to cut into it. Here is my tip to stop that..... Get your vegetable peeler and cut the skin off the top of the mango, then place it inside the slicer. It glides right down! I also was having a little rough time with the apple slicer not being sharp enough either, but I did the same trick and it worked perfectly!! Wish all of the blades had the same sharpness as the tomato slicer though. Could definitely improve but it’s still a great kitchen gadget!Would love to be sent a new one if they decide to sharpens the blades of the mango and apple slicers!!!

Okay, so I bought this as a joke for my husband who was like... "how the heck do you cut a mango!?" With that said, We've tried to use it a few times and it is just annoying and somewhat difficult to use. I'd rather just use a knife for some reason, maybe because it is quicker! I've rated it a 4 because it does what it should and seems like a sturdy contraption, but if I had it to do over, I wouldn't purchase it at all. I'll keep it for another year and try to use it more, but if not, it'll be an item I give to someone who can use it more than my one time in the past month since I bought it. My little one eats mangoes twice a week and apples throughout the week, but I'd still rather cut by hand if that tells yo anything.

Love this thing...the best part of this is not the slicers (they are great). It's the base...perfect for holding Mangos upright & in the right position & STABLE to cut though. I'm going to get my moneys worth from this.Only negative & it's a slight one. Anything with a thicker skin, like a mango, may not slice smoothly initially. The initial punch through the skin was a little rough. I took my pocket knife sharpener & touched up the edges & it helped a lot. If this is an option for you I'd suggest it otherwise just be patient breaking through the skin (or peel the top off first).

I really like this slice of combination. The three blades all work well, especially the serrated edge tomato slicer. The guide that holds all three also serves to help make sure that the slicer goes all the way through whatever is being cut. This is an improvement over my old Oxo slicer, which I just used on top of a cutting board, but never made it all the way through.Excellent value as well, since this is priced just a couple of dollars higher than the mango slicer alone from some other makers.

initial inspection good, and liked that on box and the slicer, each fruit is pictured alongside an image of the appropriate blade. Connection between blades and plastic body looks strong. Other reviews mention dull edge on blades, but this is easily corrected, but did notice blades are not quality stainless steel. Before trying on an apple, I cut small slice off top of it, to give the blades a flat square to cut into, then pressed blade holder down with a gentle rocking motion. A perfectly cored apple, with minimal stress to tool !! Mine will not be going in the dishwasher.

So far I've only had a chance to use the apple core cutter and it is by far the best cutter I've used. I've increased my apple consumption lately from all different sizes. Have not a chance to use it for mango or tomato as it's not a fruit I buy daily, but I am sure it will provide the same kind of ease.

After chopping my finger instead of my apple I decided this purchase was in order. I have zero regrets. I am thankful for the mango slicer as well, as I have always struggled with mangos! I haven't used the tomato slicer...

I am very happy with this slicer. I primarily slice apples with it. I slice about 2 apples a day with it and despite being plastic it is holding up well. I have used the mango blade once and it worked well also. The slicer cleans up easily as well. Very happy with this purchase.
