Wonderful Invention!!
Takes some getting used too to adjust the straps and to get the fit right for my chair but now I LOVE it!! I can sit in my home office chair and feel my back is supported all day, it feels like a large pair of hands cupping my back and cradling me. It is a bit expensive but it's very good quality and it looks like it will last a long time. No back ache so far after all day working from home - would recommend!!

Probably the best back rest
Someone once told me that this is the best back rest but I didn't believe then. Then I had to work from home so invested in this scary looking back rest and I'm more comfortable than being in the office!Putting aside the fact that they look like lungs, this back rest is really tall, and depending on how you put the strap around your chair, you can have it as high as you like, meaning you can use it with a seat cushion also. The strap has a rubber like texture that keeps it from slipping, I have mine in the shape of a pretzel which works really well, I've never had to readjust it.The two sides of the back rest move independently and you can adjust the whole thing depending on your height. My colleagues are always complaining about how their backs hurt and, honestly, I feel smug.

100% useless, complete waste of money
I'm 120kg/189cm, and have a wide back so this rests on my mid lats. I bought this for use at home and at work. At both places, with two different chairs, and a plethora of positions, this has done about as much as a pillow in terms of support.I don't know if it's because I'm not a 50kg lady, or if I should've seen a doctor and nutritionist and taken to a completely healthy standard weight according to height before I met the pre-requisite to use this chair, but wow, I've not had something I considered upper budget (where most other backrests are between £15-25, and this is £65), to be so useless.I used this for 2-3 weeks, about 50 hours a week, in all positions under the sun before calling it quits.Completely avoid.

SmartFit Back Rest
although this back rest has wonderful support on the back it is extremely difficult to keep in place due to the long elastic belt that supports it. It slips all over the place. The back rest when finally fixed in the correct place offers great lumbar support. I have mine on my car seat and it helps maintain a good posture and stops slouching. It is robust and looks as though it will last. Pity about the belt.

Couldn't find a suitable chair for it
I tried to like this, I really did because I do need the support for an upper back/shoulder problem and it looked ideal however I simply can't find a chair to fit it on that allows me to sit comfortably at my desk. The back rest protrudes so far that there isn't anywhere for me to actually put my bottom to sit comfortably (I'm a size 14). I tried all 3 of the office chairs that we have (from the normal cheapo one, through the £150 ergonomic one to my partner's stupidly expensive leather one) - not one of them left me more than 8 inches of seat to perch on. OK that's not strictly true - my partners chair left me slightly more space than the other two but, and it was a big but, it put so much strain on my thighs i found it more painful than dealing with the shoulder pain I was trying to treat. It is nice quality, obviously well planned out but I simply can't use it
