Great value for a high quality monitor

I wanted to save money instead and after reading numerous reviews I decided on this one. It is looks great, was very easy to set up, sound quality is awesome and the picture is very clear. The only extra I wish it had is the ability to move it upward to be more at my true eye level. I fixed that by adding a little drawer box below.

A wide color gamut, good accuracy and acceptable customer service

Okay, so I bought this a while back as a second monitor. I do photography and videography, but only need to deliver in sRGB for the internet, so the 100% sRGB appealed to me (I managed to get to 99.8% of the sRGB gamut with DisplayCal). Surprisingly, though, I learned that I was getting nearly 89% of the AdobeRGB and 91% of the DCI-P3 gamuts when calibrated and verified. These are very good numbers, ones that even an LG 27UN850-W monitor costing almost twice as much doesn't even come close to.This is a good choice as a monitor for office work, imaging and viewing films. What I most like about this monitor is the unobtrusive anti-reflective coating, the lack of blooming of white on black text and the very reliable color accuracy. I don't game with it because I'm a responsible adult with a wide range of other time-sucking hobbies, but I'm sure with the meager refresh rate, it's not going to satisfy any hardcore gamers. But what I need it for, for doing some (non-critical) color-correct viewing, it meets and surpasses my expectations. The only downside for that is some inconsistency in the brightness uniformity. But this is absolutely forgivable for my purposes and I hardly even notice it.However, the brightness uniformity issue some have written about here leads to my next point about build quality. Here there are some issues. I suspect the uniformity issue is an issue of inconsistent quality control, because mine is tolerable and not as bad as some of the other examples seen here. Also, quality control was no doubt at issue when my monitor started developing vertical black lines after one year. This is caused by the adhesive degrading and the electrical inputs that connect to the display losing contact. I called AOC about it, I was asked to provide a few pictures and then I sent the monitor back. Thankfully, there's a generously long three-year warranty period on it. Because of the price I paid for it, I wasn't about to complain about losing it for three weeks, having to pay my own shipping and providing my own box, which they didn't send back to me. I was just happy to get a completely new one in an acceptable time-frame.Looking at the monitor and comparing it to other displays, such as my partner's MacBook Pro with the Retina display or the aforementioned piece of junk from LG, made me realize what a great buy this is. AOC is sacrificing a bit with build quality to provide some high capabilities in terms of what you buy the monitor for anyways: viewing. And with how fast display technology is moving, who really cares if the thing fails on you after three years?tl;dr buy this thing for literally anything else than gaming

Title: Outstanding Display Quality and Design – A Must-Have Monitor!

I recently purchased the AOC Q32E2N 32" Frameless QHD monitor, and I couldn’t be more impressed with its performance! The 2560 x 1440 resolution delivers crisp, vibrant visuals that make everything from work tasks to entertainment an absolute joy. The 32" screen size is perfect for multitasking, offering ample space without feeling overwhelming. The frameless design not only adds a modern, sleek touch to my desk but also maximizes the screen space, making it feel even larger. Colors are vivid and accurate, and the overall picture quality is sharp. The monitor also has a decent refresh rate, making it suitable for casual gaming and video editing.Setup was a breeze, and the monitor is very user-friendly, with easy-to-navigate on-screen menus. It’s also relatively light, which made mounting it on a stand very simple.Overall, the AOC Q32E2N is a fantastic value for the price. Whether you’re working, streaming, or gaming, this monitor excels in all areas. Highly recommend!

Great monitor for the price. Mainly used for office work and light gaming.

Update: After further review and comparison -- I'm a bit more disappointed in the light bleed and black levels provided by these newer AOC models. My monitors from several years ago perform better in that regard. Colors are great and viewing angles are pretty good on these but the light bleed and panel lottery is just too much so I have to move on from AOC at this point. I still rate these 4 stars now but only because I assume most people won't mind the light bleed issues and especially if your in a brighter room. Dark rooms or playing darker content is just ruined though in my opinion by the panel issues. This is a fantastic underrated monitor that has all the options you'd likely need with the exception of maybe faster refresh rate for true gamers. I still think 4ms with 60hz is probably fine for most gamers though. The colors are fantastic and the black levels are respectable but not quite as good as I thought they would be given this is a IPS Nano Black panel. Make sure you are using the Display Port connection otherwise I noticed the HDMI black levels were much worse. Ironically, I think the contrast might be better since testing showed better variation in the black levels but the lowest black level on HDMI was definitely a dark gray.I have an older AOC U2777 model from years back that does a bit better on the black levels but the colors were way wrong compared to this one which has much better color accuracy out of the box. I still use the User mode to fine tune it further but it works pretty well. The viewing angles are pretty good too unlike the LG N27P that had some great features but overall the viewing angles could be seen as a problem even straight on...this AOC is not an issue that way. The only thing this monitor lacks is speakers which is a nice to have and surprised they left that off given many of the other AOC models have this by default. One last note, I notice a bit of light bleed in the bottom right corner mainly on both of the ones I received but I only notice it if I were to watch a movie and even then its not bad...and somewhat expected at this price point. I just wish mini-LED models were priced lower since I can't justify buying two of those at $500+ when these can be had for around $300.
