Awesome rice cooker but cooks more than rice 🍚 😋😋😋
Awesome the food is evenly cooked and the cooked rice quality is very good never tasted rice 🍚 so delicious 😋 please read the description properly I was confused at first after reading the description it cleared all my doubts if you want to cook pulses kheer use steam option because rice is always fluffy and cooked evenly no sticky ☺️While frying 🍳 you can use 100 to 160 degrees for the ghee or oil might look hot but it is hot it is just because it maintains the temperature also it fries without causing the oil to smoke 😊 which is an asset it is the best cooking device I have ever bought 😋😋😋

Useful
Useful device that I have used for cooking very small quantities of rice (half cup), though not mentioned as a minimum quantity. It worked fine, didn't bother to check timing. I’ve also cooked small quantities of millet in it, came out well. Nothing burnt 🤣. Looks good, has additional removable parts that are meant to prevent frothing etc. My only question is whether the digital display should have had a film of plastic wrap stuck to it for protection during shipping. Mine didn't. Other than that all’s well

Nice packing & Good product
First of all don't buy this thinking its a 5ltr one by seeing its title stating [Capacity-5 L, White]. Its 1.8. Second, the manual lacks information.

Worst
Worst product. You cannot restart it if you by mistake preset it. Yo will have to wait till preset timing is over.

Deceptively attractive.....
I bought this product during Amazon great sale for Rs. 5500 going by the looks and the specs provided by the manufacturer. Before I get in to the details, let me tell my readers that I purchased this relatively costly gadget because of its one feature, "The Preset Timing". This feature allows one to preset the cooking time in your chosen hours and the cooker will start at the preset time. Because we are a working couple, this is what we were looking for in order to save time and lunch time hassle, i.e., cook rice at a convenient preset time and have it ready for lunch.First, I will, as is customary, talk about the pros...1. This implement is very sleek, modern looking and should I say, deceptively attractive. With colorful LED indicator lights on and blinking, its front panel looks like the control module of a spaceship.2. The finish is excellent and doesn't look cheap.3. The PVC material of the body is high grade. But that's where the beautiful things end. When it comes to performance, it is a huge letdown for the reasons enumerated below:1. The "PRESET" timing doesn't work for RICE, I repeat "RICE" which is the primary function of the cooker and the most preferred feature for PRESET cooking. At least I bought it precisely for the purpose of cooking rice at our convenience and have it ready by the time we reached home. If this fact was mentioned in the description page, I'd never go for it. Repeat, NEVER.2. The PRESET function is for other items where you probably won't need it 99% of time like for OATMEALS etc.3. The biggest let down of this deceptively sleek and cute looking cooker is that it has fixed timing for all items. For example, the cooking time for RICE is 45 minutes, no matter how much quantity you cook. It simply means that if you have to prepare, say one cup of rice that should take around 20 minutes, its your responsibility to switch off the cooker after 20 minutes, otherwise it will take its default time of 45 minutes, which you can't change, by which time the rice will probably turn coal black. The printed booklet manual says so but nowhere is this mentioned in the Amazon item description page. This is a basic feature available in simple rice cooker that I purchased two decades back.In nutshell, this is a worthless gadget probably manufactured for westerner's food habits but entirely useless for us traditional Indians. To me if it won't cook rice at PRESET time it is useless. It turns entirely worthless when you have to check manually whether the rice texture has arrived in order to shut it off. Initially I simply didn't even think of it that this expensive cooker would be lacking in this basic feature and thought there could be some issue with my particular unit. Only after I read the Instruction Manual that this ugly truth sank in.Frankly speaking, I felt like having been cheated. Two star rating is for the sleek look of the gadget. On a lighter note, I'd advise readers to go for it if you intend to decorate your kitchen area. Flaunt it, keep the unit on and the blinking colorful lights will amuse little children. PUN intended. Thanks for taking time to read it.

Very convenient
Can’t really give a proper complete review since I just got it two days back and have only tried cooking rice with it. Rice must say came out well in 25 minutes. Used the soaked rice function and got accurately cooked Basmati rice at the end of the program. Used 2 cups water for the 1 cup basmati rice. Soaked the rice for only about 5 minutes maybe before cooking it. For all those who claim rice takes 45 minutes or more to cook, you can always use other functions to cook rice, just need to know how to adapt other features for your cooking. Steam, soup or soaked rice. I guess you can use any of these functions depending on how long you want the cooking time to last or if you want to change the settings or temperature.Today is 25th November- since I last wrote the review have made a cake, used the yogurt function and have also used the pizza function. Well for the pizza base used the ready made dough but have to say it came out pretty well. What one needs to know is that you can probably use all the functions to make what you want. It all depends on the texture and the cooking time you want I guess.According to the instruction or description given here “Special PRESET Function for cooking modes (SOUP, STEW, DESSERT, STEAM, PORRIDGE). You may use any of these modes to set any suitable time by which you want food to be ready, put all ingredients inside inner pot and food will be cooked automatically by that time. Also STEAM is a universal cooking mode through which you may cook any of your favorite dish by modifying cooking time and also use PRESET function for STEAM mode to cook your suitable dish and at any suitable time”.So those who want to preset cooking rice and also want to modify the cooking time they can go with the steam function I guess.
