Equivalent to a 60W incandescent bulb Uses LED filament technology to give it a rated 30,000 hour life, or 25-30 times the life of an incandescent bulb. Our LED filament bulbs turn on instantly to full brightness with no delay. Green lessen the impact on our environment and reduce landfill waste. Mercury free, making them much safer around kids and pets than those curly CFL bulbs. What's a reflector bulb? Chances are good you've seen one, but didn't quite know what you were looking at. A reflector bulb - also sometimes called a crowned bulb, half-chrome bulb or mirrored bulb - is a light bulb that's partially coated with a reflective material. How are half chrome bulbs used? Use reflective recessed bulbs to direct light into the can, which then reflects the light out and around the bulb to create a diffused, eclipse-like effect. Try using them with reflective fixtures like dressing-room mirror frames - that way you can see your reflection without the bulbs blinding you. Put them in your lamps to focus light down and out rather than up through the top of the shade. Really, though, you can use reflective bulbs in whatever way you want - maybe you'll find a unique use that's totally new, and if so let us know!

Good When They Work...
I ordered 3 sets of 6 bulbs. 2/18 bulbs did not work and there is some inconsistency in brightness. Annoyingly will probably have to return all of them rather than just the ones that work, because nobody replied from the support email included in the box after I messaged them on 9/3.

perfect reflective light
Really beautiful bulb that adds significant cool factor to any light fixture

Low quality, light flickers
Flickers when switched on to full brightness and don't dim well. I should've guessed the quality based on the price.

25% Failure Rate
Infrequent use for residential bathroom lighting. One (1) of four (4) bulbs, or 25%, failed in less than 8 weeks.

Failed after 1 month
Half of the 8 bulbs I ordered have already failed after only a month of use. Of course this started just outside the return window...

Bulbs Failing Far Too Soon
Half the bulbs I bought have failed after only 18 months' use in a bathroom. That's totally inexcusable for LED bulbs in this day and age, and particularly at these prices.
