I bought this for motorcycle riding knowing that it would have to go over a large and thick jacket, and I also wanted it to be versatile enough so that I could wear it, or my pillion could wear it, or I could put it over my topbox, or I could use it as an emergency 'flag' in case I was stopped in the middle of the road.First of all, the harness comes with two reflective arm-bands/ankle-bands. A surprisingly nice gesture and it would cost £1-2 separately. Second, the vest works really well. As many reviewers have noted, the beauty is that it's really quite adjustable in both the length and waistband. The strips are pretty beefy, and I'm happy with the quality for what I paid (£9). It comes in a vinyl bag with a button-closure. Pretty cheap but still useful; otherwise you would have to keep in in a zip-lock bag or just floating around.The adjustability is very easy. You slide the buckles/clasps up and down and this allows the fabric to lengthen or shorten. Because of the design, the clasps may move if the pull is at the 'wrong' angle. This is generally not a huge deal, and you can't expect a more sophisticated system at this price.It's more versatile than, say, a clothed vest because it can fit a huge range of shapes. You can even put this around something like a motorcycle topbox. I as struggling to find vests that were large enough to wear over my motorcycle jacket, and even then it wouldn't work for any other situation. With this harness, I can wear it on top of my jacket, or when I'm bicycling or jogging, etc.One of things I debated was that there is a slightly older and cheaper version by MANLERSPORT and by other sellers where the back section is not a Y-shaped suspender but rather an X-shaped suspender. I had a feeling that the Y-shaped version would be slightly easier to put on and get off, and I believe I was right. One issue is that when you put it on, it's actually a little bit difficult to be certain that you haven't twisted it in the back (especially if you're wearing it with a thick jacket). The simplicity of the Y-shape is a bit better for this, as I think it's less likely to twist.Cons:1. The black plastic buckle is quite stiff, and my experience with these buckles is that if the plastic is brittle, it will break. I've had these types of buckles break along the prong, but in that case, it's still useable with a single prong instead of the double prongs.2. Remember that it's a suspender without the clips to your trousers. What this means is that the waist area of the harness will ride up your body until the rear elastic material is no longer stretched. On me, it sits about an inch about the bellybutton. If you're a very thin person or you're pear-shaped, this can be more of a problem.3. One of the things I did not like was that on the back of the Y-section which brings the three straps together, the company has put some sort of thin fleece-like material. I would say this is a weak point in the harness. It will get soaked by rain, and pulled across jackets and other things. Its tough to say how it will hold up to wear, but I would have preferred a backing that is more robust to the elements.If you're looking for a reflective vest/harness that you can wear in a wide range of situations and that can be shared amongst different people, I highly recommend this one.

I bought this to replace one of those 'one size' tabard / vest things for running. That was just about wearable when worn over bulkier winter gear but slid around too much otherwise which meant I didn't always wear it which was counterproductive. This item on the other hand is very well made, fully adjustable and extremely reflective. The material is visible enough that I wear it during the day. It's lightweight enough that you don't notice it when its worn and adjustable enough that it won't slide around.I can't guarantee you'll look as cool as the guy modelling it in the advert but you will at least stand out.

This is an important piece of kit for any cyclist on the roads (uk). It's better than a full jacket as it can be slung over pretty much any clothing. Strap was strong and has not failed me yet.

Very nice product, even came with 2 armband reflective thingies! Can't wait to try it out as winter is approaching fast and will be useful for the early or late run! Sturdy, comfortable and lightweight! Would recommend.
