My wife just bought a brand new car, and 30 days later, the check engine light came on, and because of her busy work schedule, she was not able to take the time off to take it to a local dealership. And she was all worried about driving it with the check engine light on.So, I ordered this on Amazon, followed the instructions, hooked it up to the OBD port under the dash, scanned for the codes. Only one code showed up. I searched that code online, and found the problem!Lose gas cap (she had just filled it up that day!)This little device saved me the time, trouble (and probably the embarrassment) of having to take this car back to the dealer, and wait and wait for them to look at it, (and probably charge me for doing that) all because of a lose gas cap. Well worth the investment into this. Its easy to use, very nice screens which are easy to follow, and allows you to clear the codes once the problem is diagnosed and corrected.

Large easy-to-read screen, the blue screen fonts actually easier on the eye than more expensive color screen scanners. Also like the button layouts, makes sense where “ok” button in the center (many other brands button were awkward)Connects to system quickly, has all the standard-basic OBD2 scanner functions, the battery tester was bonus. This computer scanner is a great buy to have in your car. Anytime check engine light comes on simply plug it in and it reads the codes. The only problem I seen was it works with the car battery so as soon as you unplug it shuts off. So take pictures or write down the codes.

Easy to use, easy to read, the information is what you want, the code clarity is fine because by the time you're buying this you've probably gone to O'Reilly's and had them read it for you first. The diagnostic accuracy matches what they told me at O'Reilly's, so that works. The size is great, the updates are fine? I don't know what that means. In my case it's a problem of low-concern that keeps popping the check-engine on and making my cruise control not work and so I ordered this so I could clear it myself until I get it fixed. Solves the problem, was only $20, and came the next day.

The build quality of this unit is good. It reads codes quickly and gives you the details on the current condition of your vehicle. If you've ever thought you're repair bills are high, this device will tell you what is wrong with your car.

Good little unit for the price, does what it’s supposed to and is just a basic scanner for codes .. you’ll still have to step up to a more expensive unit to get in depth diagnostics

Great little OBD reader. I bought it to be able to check my own engine codes on my 2007 Honda Pilot and though it takes a minute to scan the protocols, it has a simple and easy to use interface and the cable is long enough that you can use it from the driver's seat or standing outside the car.

Works great. It gives you manufacturer specific codes so be sure to enter your vehicle information when prompted. The live data feature works as well as scanners that are three times the price or more
