LED String Light Fairy Light 16 Feet 50 LEDs Multi-Color Battery String Lights

I've purchased these bad boys in time for christmas in a plan to stick them on my balcony outside.They came well packaged in a small box. The unit takes 3 AA batteries (not included) but the remote itself which uses a CR32 battery already had a battery in it, just a paper tab to remove to start using.I was a little dubious about the waterproof statement, but the battery compartment has a rubber gasket on it so there's no chance of water getting in making them perfect for outside. The 16ft of cable means it's long enough too, to wrap around the railing. The remote which uses IR so line of sight is a must, allows various colour display patterns and intensities.There's also an array of colours possible from the lights. I haven't worked out what the "time" button does, but I won't be using the button so I'm not that bothered.A perfect item, highly recommended for the festive season!

Either use with battery box on/off button or remote control for more functions, 4 stars due to no instruction you have to sort with trial and error.nice not having to plug into socket as 3 x AA batteries are needed, manual is 1/ White,2/ Red,3/Green,4/Blue,5/OFF.Timer functions once you figure out, battery life is yet to be determined.UPDATE.Unfortunately high battery usage about 3 days . ( Downgraded to 3 Star )Recommend using rechargeable 3x AA batteries due to high usage.

Worked fine, was fun and was generally all as expected until after about 2 weeks of use when they started to malfunction. The light settings now vary in dimness and colour than before, the controller is less responsive, and it seems to randomly switch between light settings with no input.I was pleasantly surprised at first; due to the very cheap price I expected them to have some issues - and indeed, issues did occur after some time.These would be fine for a short period of use - such as a party, but cannot be relied on as a long term decoration.Rating 3 stars due to very affordable price.

Bought for a Christmas garland I am making to decorate our fireplace. With the remote control, and several colours to choose from, they are ideal for this purpose and of course safer than other options.

I bought several white and yellow lights and I thought I'd add a bit of colour too. Really glad I found these - they're nice and cheap and they look stunning. All of this plus a remote - it's really good value and I'm very pleased.
