This product is very good and it holds nicely. It lasts all day long. A little bit goes a long way!

Per my husband, who I got this hair product for: It works in the hair easily. Light to medium hold. Matte finish. Adds volume. Scent is fine. Overall, it’s okay but probably wouldn’t order again because of the price.

This clay does add hold and a somewhat matte finish. But on hair that's more than a couple of inches long it ends up feeling a bit clumpy and sticky. I would only recommend this for people who have short hair that's going to be styled upward or back. Smells great though

I misplaced this during a move, and I just found it. I wish I'd had it the whole time. This is a wonderful hair product, especially if you have fine or limper hair, like me. The clay in the jar has a very interesting and appealing texture. I found I didn't need to use too much. Applied to the roots, it gives them lift that lasts all day and allows me to style my hair, adjust the part, and get pieces going in the direction I want them to go in. It has a decent scent, which doesn't stay strong in the hair. This does leave a bit of a chalky-feeling residue in my hair where I've used too much, but I can brush through my hair with no problem. There isn't any stickiness or tangling. This product is simple and does a great job of making it look like I have thicker hair that has volume. It's made of quality ingredients in the US. I use so little that this small jar will last a long time and justifies the cost easily.

This smells nice and has a nice durable hold with a matte finish. No greasiness and dries quickly. More effective on shorter hair.

This is a thick white paste that is quite sticky, but it holds down and tames any frizz you might have. It helps to make your hair look thick, and it smells wonderful too! It's made in the USA, but this didn't come sealed if you have concerns with that. I really like it, just wish they sealed it!

I want a product that will not make my hair look greasy but also not like I've just spent the last 30 days in the Sahara Desert.This Hawthorne Thickening Hair Clay checks all the boxes. The texture is smooth and comfortable, the smell is like a rich, expensive Santal cologne, and it leaves my hair looking natural without being dry or incredibly greasy. It is very easy to blend into your hand and provides a nice hold without being too stiff or structured. Honestly, this is probably one of the best hair products I have tried. My hair just looks coiffed, kept, and effortless.

Only took a small amount and very little time to style my hair. The scent is ok but it's a little too strong for me and I can definitely see some people liking it more than others. Pretty good ingredients and made in the USA (small business as well).
