NOVSIX Round Bamboo Circular Knitting Needles Set Including 18 Sizes: 1mm - 10mm

These bamboo needles aren't worth the money, even though they're very inexpensive. Why? The needle part isn't consistently smooth, the points are rather dull, and there are several with rough parts that snag the yarn. Or suc a bargain price, I was willing to take the sandpaper out to smooth the snaggy bits. But there's no fixing the cables. They're thick as drinking straws, and pulled off the needle shaft before I even got to the end of the cast-on. Super frustrating, as I thought these would be so great for beginners in my class. Don't aggravate yourself with poorly designed and made tools! Knitting is supposed to be a relaxing, joyful endeavor that also gives you something great to wear. These needles will have you tearing your air out in no time at all. Spend a little more on quality like Clover brand, which are inexpensive and great to work with, especially for beginners.

These are very good for teaching knitting as the bamboo is light and easy to hold and prevents the yarn from accidentally slipping off the needles. I have been knitting for over a decade and find these needles to be sturdy and light, easy to hold even with my weak wrist, and there is an indescribable pleasant feeling in holding the bamboo in my fingers.The only downside is that on one of the needles (out of the whole set of 18!) the cable wasn't connected to the bamboo properly and there was a little gap which my yarn caught in sometimes as I was knitting. Honestly for the price though and considering there was only the one problem out of all 18 pairs, I felt like it wasn't really that big of a deal.Great product, especially for the price. More than satisfied!

These are very handy circular needles, in a wide variety of sizes, from tiny to big.I prefer using circular needles for knitting in the round (using the Magic Loop technique), and for back-and-forth. When I use regular or dp needles, I tend to drop them all the time. Using circular needles for almost all knitting helps a lot there!I also like the colors of the tubing- it's fun.The points are nice and sharp, too.

I really like the feel of the bamboo needles. However, the tubing broke at the connection to the needle before I finished one Afghan.

It’s great having a complete set in every size for so little money. They require a little sandpaper or otherwise some (most) will snag the yarn. Easy fix. One draw back is that the tubing that connects the needles is too thick in several of the sizes and this causes drag that becomes painful to older hands. On the other side, though, you discover quite quickly which sizes you want to upgrade to a higher quality and you still have all the sizes. I have recommended them often.

I’m really disappointed in these. The tubing used to connect the round is very grippy, making it very difficult to move the project around as needed. Also, after a few uses, all of the needles have met the same fate: cracks and breaks near the needle rendering them USELESS. I guess you get what you pay for.
