Supports other signals like 1440p144hz and 1080p240hz!
Works as advetised.I used it together with a Elgato 4K60 Pro capture card and I can confirm that this device is cable of:2160p60 RGB 4:4:41440p144hz RGB 4:4:41080p240hz RGB 4:4:4Warning: It comes with a USB cable but no power adapter. You will need to plug it into a device that supplies power or buy a cheap USB wall plug.

but it does work adequately and it's pretty much the only thing I could find that would ...
It worked as it was supposed to, but every once in a while, it may cut out the signal and give me black screen for a few seconds. Additionally, it will sometimes takes several minutes for the screen to show up in the first space. Not sure what's up with that, but it does work adequately and it's pretty much the only thing I could find that would work. Because of the lack of other options, I give it a 4. If there were anything else on the market I could find that would work for me, I would have given it a 3.

It may solve your signal input issues
For the most part, this solve the issue that I was having with my receiver not detecting the signal midway through a movie. The HDMI cable was only 25' to the projector, but I was having the same issues with multiple receivers, Yamaha and Sony. I figured before buying another receiver, I would try this and it seems to be working, it has been a few months now.

Excellent Active HDMI Repeater
This thing is great and works perfectly. To be fair I'm not using it for 4K, but I am using it for above 1080p and 90 fps. Specifically, I bought this because I wanted a way to extend the HDMI cable for my Oculus Rift VR headset without sacrificing any latency. Simply adding an HDMI extension cable can add latency which can cause stuttering, ghosting, signal degradation or just lagginess in general. So in order to be sure that problem wouldn't occur, I knew I needed an active HDMI repeater. Active means it's externally powered, which always means more reliable in regards to cables and adapters for audio and video.I plugged my Rift into this and sent another HDMI 2.0 cable out into the HDMI out port on my GTX 1080 Ti. I tried plugging the USB power adapter cable into a USB charger. But that caused some weird issues where my fans were staying on after I shut down my PC. THAT scared me. Something like that can easily kill your computer. So instead I just plugged it into a USB port on my cases front panel, which worked as well and didn't have the side affect of freaking me out.I fired up some VR games I knew were the most stressful and demanding and, to my delight, they ran flawlessly. I enabled super sampling and forced additional anti aliasing from the Nvidia control panel and there was no added latency or lagginess and the image quality was the same as it was prior to installing this repeater. This repeater is small, well made and has a nice sturdy steel casing. It's definitely priced well in my opinion. I was very happy with how well it worked and what I paid for it. It does come with some screws and some tapped holes you can use to mount it up to whatever surface you prefer. However, where mine is installed, the only place to mount it would be directly on to my PC case. Well that's unacceptable. I have a specialty case that cost more than an Xbox 1 or a PS4 so I don't want to start drilling holes into it and especially not when my hardware is installed inside of it. So what I did was, I used some small neodymium magnets I had lying around to mount it up to the side of my case without having to damage it or modify it in any permanent way. I was concerned the magnetic field of so strong a magnet could interfere with the signal to my Rift headset. But it appears this repeater offers adequate shielding and I certainly used some decent HDMI cables so there was no problem with signal interference. The magnets are strong enough I can yank on the cable while gaming with the headset on and the repeater won't budge. The HDMI ports are nice and tight and hold the cables in place even when a bit of force is exerted on them.My personal experience with this repeater has been very positive and recommend it for anyone with similar needs. I would say just be aware that if you do intend to run very long HDMI cables, 25 ft. or more. You should be sure to buy cables with integrated Redmere chips. They are basically little processors that maintain signal integrity over your longer HDMI cables. I'm using a 25 ft. HDMI cable with two Redmere chips from my PC to my 4K full RGB 60hz 10 bit HDR UHDTV and I have zero issues even with a signal requiring the upper limits of what's possible with an HDMI 2.0 cable. That's both 4K60 RGB 10 bit HDR and 7.2 Dolby Atmos audio signal on that 25 ft cable. No lag, no degradation. Using a repeater such as this can be what you need to keep your signal strong and with the additional HDMI cables I mentioned, maintain it over even great distances.

One way only.
I have a receiver and had so much trouble with audio and also the video seems to degrade a slight bit. I am very obsessed and tip pick on small imperfections when it comes to my Sony $3000 4K TV. Nothing but the best. Found that without it, video was wayyyy better and audio was perfect with no A/V delay. Returned it. Very good quality product though.

Dodnt do anyrging amazing for me. For my long hdmi run, I found the HOSS HDMI wire with the active chip set worked way better. You can find them at Monoprice.

Its worked for me so far. I use this for my oculus rift VR headset and it works great. I'm happy to see this works, after previous hdmi extenders have failed to work well on VR
