A good price with a good flavour. Nice to use when making home made sausage rolls.

It's not a herb I have used a lot for some years but have recently got back into covering chicken thighs with it and putting back in fridge before cooking to let the flavours soak in also add some onion powder. Makes the chicken really tasty. This is a simple easy to use jar and good value.

🌿 MORRISON’S🌿 SAGE🌿 11gSage adds a different flavour to a pork fillet marinade or makes a tasty stuffing, amongst other recipe ideas along with those suggested on the back of the jar (3rd image refers). Although, I find this texture is a bit too varied for sprinkling over my omelette.Sealed on arrival, the little glass jar arrived well protected in a little, bubble-wrap jacket inside the sturdy ‘Amazon Pantry’ carton. The seal has a new easy-tear strip that makes life a lot easier, especially if in a hurry to open the jar!The jar has a base diameter of around 4 cm and stands around 9.75 cm tall.It has a rigid BLACK-coloured, plastic-type lid, which is around 2 cm deep & flips up, clipping back into place with a reassuring click. No integral sprinkler on this one, but a regular sized teaspoon fits easily enough, in my experience.The front label is freshly coloured with ‘Sage’ scripted in WHITE on an OLIVE GREEN background, with a separate capitalised, bold ‘S’, along with the regular Morrison’s ‘M’.The back labels have the best before date (May 2018 on mine) along with storage guidelines and container-recycling guidelines (check for local detail re the lid).Other herbs & spices currently available at 'Amazon Pantry’ include:🌿 🌿 🌿 🌿 🌿 🌿 🌿 🌿 🌿 🌿 🌿 🌿 🌿 🌿 🌿 🌿 🌿 🌿 'Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.'[8 images attached]
