Crank: Crank + Glass (Crank Series) Paperback – October 27, 2009

The books came in good condition although the collectors box they came in was completely destroyed but i dont care all too much but I know it must matter to some. I'm excited to add these books to my collection and look forward to the nostalgia of reading them. Thank you!

For now, this will be a very short review about this product 'cause... I've just read the first book, and about the second... I think I'll read more books before entering the world of Bree again.Honestly, is not my kind of book, but I have to admit I laugh'd with some decisions Kristina/Bree took. First of all, the story's about a girl, the best student, a good daughter, a 'good girl'. She's all that perfect 'till she 'meets the monster'. Who's the monster? You'll find out when you read it...Second, the writing is very interesting, that's what catch'd my eye in the first place. I bet you can read the entire book in a day (if you start it since morning) It's very catching and since it isn't separated in chapters, you'll continue reading and reading 'cause you'll want to know what will happen next.And about the story, well, some people would like it, some others (like me) wouldn't care so much... Some others may not like it. It depends, 'cause is a story about what happens in life depending in your choices (specially at a teen age), so... It's your choice if you read it or not.

Ok, so I'm not rich. I'm not famous. I'm not even as thin as I would like. But at least I'm not the character Hopkins portrays in these two books. "Riveting" doesn't describe the feeling I got reading this series - it's simply a train wreck that can't be stopped. I think at some point I wanted to reach into the book and take this girl out of the dismal situation she'd put herself into. I literally could not put the books down. And although the second book lacks the poetic flair of the first, the story is a heart-breaking (albeit predictable) story of addiction, apathy, and pain.

I bought a two pack with Crank and Glass in it. I have already read both books, I bought them for my series. They arrived sooner than I anticipated. The Glass book had a rip on the cover, but I taped it up and it will be fine. They are paper back books so they will not always look perfect. All in all I was very satisfied.

I am now on the last book of this trilogy and I am absolutely obsessed! Ellen Hopkins really gets you into these books, I thought at first I would not like the poetic form of the paragraphing but it actually gets you to better understand the character aspects. I 100% recommend this series and all her other books I have read to everyone!!!! (Impulse is a good book outside the crank series)

I would probably rate this series as my all time favorite. Ellen Hopkins is absolutely amazing. This series is so compelling and she really gets inside the mind of an addict, due to her daughter's battle with methamphetamine. Its so riveting and I promise, you won't be able to put it down. This coming from someone who has read the series three times already. Absolutely astonishing!

Both of these books were incredibly hard to put down after I started reading them. Ellen Hopkins does an amazing job depicting the hardships of an unfortunate drug addict, and I have read many more books of hers since. The writing format is refreshing since her novels are some of the few out there written this way (not at all hard to understand).

these books were gripping, shocking and leaves you at the edge of your seat,i kept going why, oh my gosh, and no! it is a great book, in that the writing was good, and the story felt so real, it makes you feel for the people in the book, not to mention, this story happens for real all the time, with nobody to tell it to.
