Pacific Rim Gipsy Danger 18" Deluxe Action Figure 1/4 Scale

Overall I'm disappointed with this figure. It looks good and the detail is great, but that's all it has going for it. For a figure this size it is very limited in its poses. The arms don't turn at either the bicep or forearm region, making it impossible to put it in a punching position. The shoulder's joints are blocked by the armor pieces on its shoulder and on its back limiting shoulder joint movement to about what you see in the pictures. Also, the swords will not go in the slots provided for them, making them all but useless. Would not recommend, I'm considering returning this item.

Gypsy Danger is unbelievable. Well detailed, massive, terrific spotless paint job. The picture is wrong though. Danger has closed fist only and comes with TWO, eight inch chain swords. Those are Super DIFFICULT to put in. Took about 1/2 hour. Used all my man muscles, kept jiggling and praying for strength to shove the swords in.The pose-ability is what you EXPECT from a robot. According to another reviewer, he was "UPSET" over lack of movement. It's a 18" scaled robot. Why would it need a arm swivel that was never in the movie? The fists do rotate, knees bend pretty well, and so do the elbows. Head has a nice range of movement and so does the upper torso.There is a nice bright LED light. The one nit pick, the visor area is a solid molded plastic. Would have been better if it were a see through yellow plastic, that would also light up...but alas, it was not to be.Best NECA 18" ever. It does NOT have the same leg problems as previous Neca figures. This figures legs CAN actually support the body.Do not pay over $110 for this. BIGBADTOYSTORE and NECA are doing a second production run, preorder from them and not these awful ebay/amazon scalpers.
