Purchased these b/c a few of the builder's lights burned out in less than 2 years. Of course, these were the ones as high up as possible. In any event, bought a number of these to serve as replacements. Seemed easy to install and offered a brighter light than what was installed originally, which I wanted. Hope these last as long as promised...only time will tell. Glad to have found these!

These retrofits are awesome! I love the clean bezelson them. Installation was easy, but I had old cans from the 80s, so I had to trim the circles bent into the ends of the fingers off, but that was no big deal (just be mindful if your cans are from the early 80s, as those metal fingers are about the thickness of metal coat hangers and do require proper snips to cut). The color temperatures are accurate and easy to set and the prices are far cheaper than the ones at Home Depot and Lowe’s.

Nice lights, easy install, color selectable for best fit in your home & to match warm or cool color tones. Happy with the purchase. Curious to see how long they last but overall work well.

These lights are the closest to perfect I've seen. So simple to install, just a couple minutes for each. The lighting...oh, my goodness! I don't like super bright overhead light, but if you do, you'll love these. I'm happy they are dimmable and you can choose your lighting color for each one. I chose a warmer tone, and once the dimmer is installed, I can even tone that down if I want. I thought the price was too high when I ordered these, but once installed I changed my mind. If they last as long as they say, they're a great value.

Worked well as replacement for old incandescent can lights. Is simple to install. My only issues are I found it difficult to get it to fit snug against the ceiling and the spring wires to hold it into the can lights are difficult to place without hitting a hole or protrusion in the can. I bent the wires some to get a better fit. Still, I couldn’t get it to lay flat against the ceiling. Probably is fine though as I don’t look up at the ceiling often. I like the ability to adjust the color and I like that these worked with my existing dimmer without issue.

These lights just slide into place after removing the old trim kit from the recessed housing, screwing the new fixture into the socket, and hooking up the clips. I had multiple types of trim kits, but replacement was essentially the same on all. The color temp is consistent across lights, as expected, when the same setting is chosen. These are very bright lights. If you're switching from BR30 60W bulbs, you will see a significant increase in light. So hold onto the thought about possibly installing a dimmer until you've had these for a day or two to see if you get used to the light level and/or if it needs to be toned down. We selected the whiter color temp of 3500K (versus the old ones which were 2700K) which greatly improves the usefulness of the lighting, enhances the paint color on the walls, and makes our white floor tile look white again. The original shock of brightness was replaced with an expectation that we will be able to see everything in our main entry the way we thought it would look when we were choosing colors at the paint store. We're very happy with these lights, and would recommend them as a very easy way to improve the interior look and feel of your home.

I needed to replace some lighting in our kitchen, so I decided to try theses LED recessed lights.They quality of manufacture looks to be good. They arrived well packaged. They are super easy to install, took me about 2 minutes to install the first one - the rest were even quicker.Since these are in pour kitchen we wanted very blight lights, so I se the light temp to the 5000K (daylight) setting. They are a good match for other 5000K lights we have nearby. The lights are very bright, but that is what we were looking for. They claim 1500 lumens, and based on other lights we have that claim 1400 lumens, I'd say the claim of 1500 for these lights is about right. They produce this light with only 17 watts, so a big cost saver if you are still using old incandescent lights.They are dimmable and the instructions point you to the luxuriate web site to see a list of compatible dimmers. The website lists several models from both Lutron and Leviton that will work with these lights, but we don't have any plans to dim them as my wife loves the very bright kitchen.If you are looking for a very easy retrofit for your 6" downlight, these will not disappoint.
