As a small business owner me and my partner have been expanding the business and decided it was time to hire a few employees so i got this time clock. I’ve been quite impressed with its features and functionality. It has several good functions that are great for the price. The combination of fingerprint scanning, RFID badges, and PIN punching in one device makes attendance tracking a breeze. No more paper time cards or messy ribbons—just a seamless experience for both employees and management.Setting up employee profiles is straight forward. The clock can store up to 1000 fingerprints and 1000 RFID cards, which is more than sufficient for my team.The built-in backup ensures that time data, including punch time reports and employee details, remains protected even during power failures. The clock can automatically generate attendance data. I simply download the Excel attendance report using the included 8GB flash drive. It’s convenient for tracking weekly, biweekly, semimonthly, and monthly pay periods.The device includes voice prompts and supports English, Spanish, and Portuguese. Whether your team is multilingual or not, everyone can use it effortlessly. One of the standout features is that it works right out of the box with no monthly fees or software costs. As a small business owner, this is a huge plus.

As a TIME CLOCK, this basically had ONE JOB to do... and FAILED at keeping accurate time! I threw it in the trash after three weeks of headaches.Easy enough to operate BUT, the timeclock itself kept changing times randomly during normal use and was unreliable at keeping accurate track of employee times... I had to constantly reset it. The software spreadsheet tracked time punches only but would not total the hours or deduct for lunch breaks.... I had to do that manually. Also, the spreadsheet is password protected from the factory so the information cannot be exported and the format cannot be changed in Xcel to a more user friendly format.

This is perfect for my business. Even though it's small in size, it can do all the functions of your traditional card clock-in type of system for employees. This is quicker and more efficient in keeping track of time as well as the summary. I'm glad that I stumbled upon this product because I'm tired of trying to read these stamped ones that sometimes get ruined based on low in or stamping over the previous time by "accident". This eliminates a lot of things from card stacks, reordering cards, making your own spreadsheets, resetting the clock from power outages, and re-inking the machine. Now with the fingerprint scanner, co-workers cannot rip off the business by clocking in their co-workers when they're late to the job. That's another plus on this. So, this is well worth the price and removing all that headache that comes with the older style time clocks for any business.

Way too difficult to use. Really lightweight and I'm afraid it will break.

I love the concept of this punch clock!It can store up to 1000 people via user ID and password, or via fingerprint, and if using punch cards, can be used by 5 people for those (this kit includes 5 punch cards)These methods all work well for punching in and out!Unfortunately, thats where the efficiency and usefulness ends.This machine comes only with instructions on how the administrator can get employees set up. The instructions get you through the employee set up but leave some gaping holes, which can be intuitively figured out by playing with the machine.Employees who are using the fingerprint login/logout have it the easiest as it reads the fingerprint very well actually. An employee using one of the 5 keycards will also have an easy time. An employee using a user ID and password will need to walk up to the machine, punch in their user ID# straight away and then hit OK, and then enter their password, and then hit OK again.Fair enough..Now, here come the shortcomings of the machine.. which lead me to give this unit a low score..1) Nobody knows when they are punching in versus out. The machine doesnt tell you, the electronic file doesnt tell you.. even I got confused if I was punched in or out as I was testing the machine. There is literally no way for an employee to know which way they are punching.. so if they accidentally scan in twice, it would be easy to get confused and that would literally throw the ENTIRE electronic file and data into chaos. I suggest the creator add voice prompts: "punching in", "punching out" to eliminate this potential chaos and likely user event.2) The reports. The reports is where I can definitely say that I do not recommend this machine for use in the USA.The machine has 4 downloadable files for analyzing the clock in and clock out data.The first report is the "Attn. Report" and this report has all kinds of focus on whether they clocked in early, or late, or had overtime, or got a pay deduction for arriving late or leaving early, but literally had NO directions for how to set up all of these parameters. I bet they are in there, but I was not aware that they were until I saw this report. Unfortunately this is the ONLY report that tallies up a users total clocked in time, and it simply says the number of hours they have.. its not split up in any form or fashion via day, or time, etc. It simply says hours worked 1.09 for example. Thats it. No way to work with or analyze the data. This report is first in the pictures so that you can see it. The report comments on all kinds of things that do not pertain to the usual work force here in the USA (penalty for clocking in late, or clocking out early..)2. The second report is the "Att Rec" and it literally creates a "glog" spreadsheet that has a list of each clock punch. It is not sortable by user. It does not tally anything. It does not say whether it is a punch in or a punch out. I guess one has to assume that every other punch is an in or an out.. but it is impossible to track.. get off by one and your entire punch in and punch out system is completely wrong. This report is the second in the picture cue so that you can see it.3. The third report is the "user info" to which it brings up an empty form no matter how much activity has been entered into the machine. The third picture is of this report4. The fourth report is "user data" and it brings up AFP in explorer which is completely black and blank.. nothing there despite 8-10 log ins and log outs and 2 users using the machine.The information that the machine has stored remains in the machine when the machine is unplugged, but for the user to log in or to log out, the machine must be plugged in. It does not function unless it is plugged in. There is no battery operation for being able to clock in or out. Any battery it has, simply keeps the stored information inside.The thumbdrive that comes with it is supposedly 8, but I did note that the gold pins are aimed down when it is installed in the attendance machine, and the gold pins must be aimed down when it is put into a USA computer.Something to remember is that you must download each report individually onto the thumbdrive. If you only download one, you can print both the Attn Report, and the Att Rec but only the one you downloaded just now will be accurate and the other one will be there, ready to view, with the information outdated (back to the last time you downloaded it). There is no time/date stamp on the reports to say as of which date the information was accurate. So be sure you download each one if you want accurate reports from each.What I did like;1) I liked all the ways to clock in/out (fingerprint, or user ID/password, or one of 5 keycards.. you can lock in EACH of those for each employee during the setup (or just one or two of those) if you choose.2) You can set up users as users or admin so that only those with admin status can go into the machine and add or delete employees, change settings, etc. This is nice. Just be sure that more than one person has admin status because if they leave the company, no one else will be able to go in and modify employees.. or download reports, or do anything!!3) I liked how easy it pulled microsoft excel up for the first 3 reports. BUT the reports were not designed in a good way to be most useful to a USA employer.Overall, if this designer teamed up with someone from the USA and made these spreadsheets sortable, and with more detail that employers do need, and if the "clocked in" and "clocked out" audio were added to the machine with each clock in and clock out, this machine would be GREAT to have and use for small businesses. I did hope to use it for mine, but ultimately will not be able to because of its shortcomings. I spent about 2 hours on the machine using the features, clocking in and out several employees, downloading and looking at the reports. I feel confident that it has potential, but is a no go currently due to the shortcomings mentioned.Darn!

I use this system in my science lab to monitor student attendance when they arrive and leave the center. I appreciate the multiple methods my students can check in/out, including by fingerprint, manual code entry, or RFID card. The system is easy to program following the well-written instructions. I was able to mount the system on a cement block wall without any problems. I decided to have my students use an assigned RFID card attached to the back of their student identification cards. The system keeps a good record of date/time in and out. Now I can track student participation and animal feedings in my lab setting. I am satisfied with this product so far. Hooks up to a standard US electrical socket for power.
