Very bright and very functional! Shame about the copper wiring!
I originally purchase this set of LEDs to brighten up my living room, but since arriving and liking them so much I'm planning on using them to light up my display cabinet.The unit comes with a battery attachment taking 3 AA batteries. The cover slides off for battery insertion and slides back on. There is a screw hole to secure this, but it's tight enough once closed, also no screw is provided to seal it! The unit seems secure, and the on off switch seems practical and hasn't faultered so far.The lighting itself is a soft yellow hue which is nice and bright. The cable appears to be exposed copper wiring which is always an issue if you accidentally cross over/overlap the cable as it will short out but on closer inspection it's coated so this doesn't happen. I have had a little issue with straightening out the cable, but this will get better with time and use, it's just because it's been coiled for transport. Came in an envelope but in an amazon box so no fear of it getting broken in transit.Definietly recommended If you want to illuminate something, the cable being exposed means the brass colour is in stark constrast to the light provided. This may be OK for some, but this is one of the reasons I'm using it to light my display cabinet because I didn't really like it.That's my opinion though! It gets 5 stars because it's cheap and functions as it should! Perfecto!
