Gives a good and close shave with a double edged razor.

A decent shaving cream, I've used shower gels from this company and they're good quality too.

What's inside is a great product. Just be careful when squeezing the bottle it always busts at the end with What's inside going everywhere.

It seems that people have complained regarding getting the stuff out of the tube. Solution - put the tube in hot water prior to use, I worked that one out very quickly, not bad for an 83 year old technophobe and don’t forget when the tube seems to be empty cut it in half you will still have enough for another few days

I bought this product because it seemed to have lots of good reviews and I also saw it recommended in men's interest sites online. Unfortunately, looking back I can see many of these are free product reviews and this I think does call into question the quality of the product.In short, I have to compare this to other skincare products of a lower price in order to justify purchasing at this price point and not instead of a £2/£3 drugstore alternative. I shave every day as I do not like the feeling of stubble on my face, and so the rate at which I use a product like this means that I need to re-order more frequently.The cream has a nice scent and is thick. I feel that a little does go along way, but the size of the product is not enormous- I think this will probably last about a month. That is roughly comparable/slightly less than the length of time a more commercial product would last me.The packaging is nice, but cheaply made, the top of my bottle has split after 2 uses and so when squeezed the tube now dispenses from both ends. This is extremely messy and frustrating.Regarding the shave experience, I do not notice a better shave than when compared to drugstore brands. The soap is very slippery in texture, and I feel that this is actually to its detriment as it will clog a cartridge razor very easily. It is also difficult to apply without a shaving brush in order to ensure that it is catching the hairs. I found that the quality of shave I got from it was closer than that of a drugstore brand, but it also took significantly longer, and I did get some irritation from the shave and it was on occasion painful. This is not normally an issue that I encounter with a drugstore brand. I think this is due to having to press harder when shaving in order to catch their hairs through the viscosity of the product.I feel that the ingredients are good at preventing razor burn, and I have not experienced any when normally I would expect to with a closer shave such as this, or with the level of friction, I can feel on my face. This is a mixed blessing, as the shave is much less comfortable. I normally shave while in the shower, and I feel this product is difficult to apply in the shower also. I must also note I use a pre-shave scrub to lift hairs, an aftershave balm, and an optimizing skin cleanser and moisturizer formulated to reduce redness almost daily, and I would attribute my lack of skin complaints post-shaving to those products over this one.Although the product itself is perfectly acceptable as a shaving cream, I am not convinced that it justifies the additional outlay compared to a drugstore brand. Normally once I find a product I love, I will always purchase it to the detriment of even trying any others, and I do not think that this will be one of those brands.

If this product has a scent then it must be the faintest of smells. This is the second time I've bought this product and I rate it highly. It gives really good coverage of my face from the smallest amount, is reasonably priced and it helps my razor to glide over my skin well. Will continue to use.

Great product for the price!

The scent is pleasant not overpowering. The cream rubs into my stubble ok. Then a mild stinging starts as if there is no balming effect. It does not get absorbed into the skin very well.When shaving the razor glides over my face well enough, but because of the poor absorption I'm having to use much more cream than for any other products. I shave 3 times a week max and this has laster less than 3 weeks. Very poor value. I noticed that the residue in the tube had hardened so that when applying I got lumps in the paste I was applying. Waste of money going back to a well known branded shave gel from the supermarket for £1.50 that'll last for a few months and give me a closer shave.
