After only a few uses the raised bristles started to separate

Less sturdy than expected, sides bending with little use. Brushes look effective on the sides. I do not expect it to last very long.

Well made

Effectively removes most of the mud from my shoes, using its various surfaces and edges. It doesn't feel all that sturdy and is already bending a little with use, but this doesn't impair its function at all. On the plus side it means it's not too heavy to move about, and it's open enough in design that it doesn't absorb all the rain water. I use a stick to get packed clay out of the deepest part of the shoe grip, but the mat effectively cleans all of the rest, including the sides of the soles and backs of heels. I'm about to buy another for the back door, and couple as gifts, so you can see I'm happy with the product.

At first I thought it was a bit small but really it's perfect for scaping boots and shoes as there is plenty of room for each foot, excellent it does the job well .

I bought this because I couldn’t be bothered to continue scrubbing the mud of my shoes every time I walk the dog, which is 3 times a day. This does exactly what I want it to, thus saving my back and valuable seconds of my day. I will update this review in a month or so to comment on how robust it is after 17 stone of usage, but first impressions are that it’s going to stand up to the task.
