I purchased these gloves as a warm weather work glove for which it is described as. Working for a major package carrier company I always wear gloves to protect my hands. During the warmer months of the year wearing gloves can be troublesome as they tend to make you even hotter, so I searched for a glove that provides some sort of ventilation. These gloves seemed to fit the bill with a perforated synthetic palm and a nylon mesh backing. When the gloves arrived I was very pleased with all the ventilation that they provided and went ahead and ordered another pair before even using the first pair.Went through a couple of days of use and I thought I had a winner here. They did exactly as claimed in regards to the venting, I was able to use them all day without being overly hot during the warmer days. Now you may as why only three stars? Well there is a fatal flaw in the design of the fingers.After the end of the week I noticed that the pinkie and thumb started to wear through where the mesh is. If you notice on some of the pictures the pinkie and thumb are not completely capped like the three middle fingers are. The middle fingers have the same perforated synthetic material on the palms extend to the back of the fingernails, a great detail when you use your fingers to reach and grab. Unfortunately the pinkie and thumb do not have this complete covering to protect the back of said digits. They are half capped with the synthetic material and half capped with the nylon mesh, I have no idea why they did this. If you use your pinkie and thumb to reach and grab, like I do, the mesh will rub and catch and being it is not as strong as the palm material it wears really quick. In my case at the end of the week the mesh was warn through, but not the synthetic material.Obviously their are other uses for this glove, as many have mentioned in other posts, but if you were considering these for work I would look elsewhere. If Mechanix would make an updated version where the pinkie and thumb were capped like the other fingers these in fact would be perfect warm weather work gloves.

I use these Mechanix Wear Vent gloves for mountain biking or to feel cool while I am driving. I like that they have a mesh top fabric and also have holes in the grips of palm side. This allows them to stay cool which is required for a long day in the sun whilst mountain biking.These gloves can be used all around and are lighter weight and thus will not be as durable as the standard Mechanix gloves used to work on car or around the house, but for sports these are a fantastic option without having to resort to paying high prices for specialized gloves that are charging you for the brand and the intricate design and color scheme that they have. This glove outperforms other gloves that are created for specific categories, and this is more of a generic type of glove. The fit and feel are superb. I keep them in the side door of my car and are my clean pair of gloves to use whenever I should need them.I would like to also point out that these gloves can be used to operate your touch-screen devices. There are so many gloves on the market currently that have a sole purpose of incorporating a separate fabric in the index finger, usually a thinner mesh, so that the touch screen will recognize the heat signature from a finger touch. With these gloves, they have mesh on the tops and partly on the sides. I have found that if I slightly rotate my finger or press a little harder then there is no problem at all with using a touch screen while wearing these. I bought a pair of these about a year ago due to hypersensitivity in my hands caused by carpal tunnel and nerve damage. The problem has always been a huge loss in what remaining sensitivity I have - and - the usual lousy fit. Then, of course, I live in a semi-tropical environment with very high humidity and miserable heat. Sweat is no small issue.I finally talked myself into trying the Mechanix Vent gloves. WOW! Where I normally wear a large, I tried on a pair of normal Mechanix at the local hardware store and discovered that the medium was a really snug fit. I ordered the medium in white. What I received was medium in grey, but when i put them on I immediately decided to keep them.The fit is amazing! Snug right to the finger-tips, tight seams, and the myriad of vent holes over the entire surface of the gloves completely eliminated the sweating issue. My pain went away immediately; so comfortable are they that I often wear them in my sleep! The simulated leather of the palms and fingers allow me to write, type, shoot, drive, and pick out small items in my pockets with no problem. Heck, I can even work on my touch screen phone with only limited trouble. So, a year in and I am looking to buy a second pair mainly for looks as the first pair are still very functional but are looking a tad fuzzy on the backs due to exposure to briers, vines, and the hook-side of Velcro on my pockets.This is one product that I cannot rate high enough. Buy them!

I wanted a pair of light weight, but still sturdy gloves to use in mowing my lawn and other landscaping duties. Since summer is brutal where I live, I needed something that was breathable. I have been through several other types of gloves before I tried these bad boys. They are exactly what the lawn doctor ordered, and I love them. They are washable and come out looking just like new. They have a patch of material you can use to wipe sweat from your brow during your lawn duties. And, they come in big sizes for us guys with big hands.I know a lot of mechanics that swear by this brand, and now I know why. I didn't know they made a glove of this type, until I saw them on Amazon. I now have a spare pair, in case I can't find these anymore. My current pair will soon be on their third season of lawn care, and show no sign of giving up or wearing up. Thanks, Mechanix Wear and Amazon!!!

Great for training outside but they wear down quickly after tyre flipping.

Sono appassionato di meccanica e pertanto utilizzo dei guanti da lavoro che ovviamente sono un elemento fondamentale nella sicurezza. Generalmente utilizzo i classici guanti in nitrile e tessuto che hanno una vita relativamente breve e un costo modesto. Ho preso questi guanti e devo dire che sono bellissimi sia come fattura che calzata (sono comodissimi).... è un peccato sporcarli !!

Tras haber buscado unos guantes largos específicos para entrenar sin que me llegara a convencerme ninguno, me arriesgue con estos.Los guantes son comodos, ligeros, bonitos, se ven muy resistentes y sobre todo protegen sin tener pinta de que se vayan a romper al tercer entrenamiento.A tener en cuena que son guantes muy ventilados por lo que apenas protegen del frío en caso de entrenar en el exterior. Es mejor que no llevar nada pero se te pueden seguir enfriando los dedos.El precio me parece muy correcto en comparación con otros guantes de fitness de marca.
