This is a very beautiful small journal. The leather is exquisite and changes color as it ages. The paper is substantial but not too thick. It is small enough to carry in my purse to use throughout the day as needed. The closure band is snug and stays snug without wearing out. Beautifully and thoughtfully crafted. I would definitely buy this again for myself or give as a gift.

Bought as a gift for my wife. She writes a food article for our local paper and always needs a note pad when we go to try a new restaurant. It is a well made leather binder for the note pad but doesn't fit her needs . The note pad is made of a poor quality paper and we have quit looking for something to replace it with. No note pads we have tried will fit.

This is a lovely color. Scratches super easy. I mean SUPER easy. Thicker than the "brand" TN passport size, but not obnoxiously so. Comes with a lot of accessories that I will not use, but others might.
