This a very good quality product. It will make your digital files,stored on your phone or tablet,sound in a decent high resolution when you connect it to your hifi system. The same applies to Internet radio stations. Add easy set up,cost and quick delivery to the above,and the overall conclusion is that this product deserves five stars from my point of view

Nice little bit of kit

This is the second blutooth receiver I've tried within a week and, while it's getting its own review, this is going to be a partial comparison.It's being paired up with an AIYIMA A01 miniature amp and, in my case, used primarily for music streaming.The unit comes with some preset EQ settings, volume controls, and is advertised as having low latency - that is, if watching tv/streaming video etc. with the audio arriving via connection to this receiver, then audio sync should be pretty good - and in fact it is, no complaints here.However, if using it for music streaming it's not stellar. To get to the point here, the base and mids are pretty decent, quite full but pretty well balanced really - the problem is with the top end, which is slightly less well defined, with some sections sounding like someone dropped a cymbal on the floor while playing white noise. Not sure where the problem lies - tried it on all 3 EQ settings, and reduced the volume both on the phone and the unit itself (while turning the volume up on the amp), just to ensure the amp isn't getting over-driven but, while it's possible to reduce the effect, the issue remains.To ensure I wasn't imagining it, I switched back to my first purchase - a Sonru Blutooth 5.0 receiver - using the same settings on the phone and amp, and no more dropped cymbal.To put things in perspective, the overall sound is actually pretty good and the low latency is a winner if watching video (the Sonru fails in this respect). Couple that with the actual solid lower frequency and mid range (acoustics sound pretty good), and overall it's not a bad unit. Also, the EQ setting that gives focus to dialog is quite effective - again, this would shine if watching video and streaming audio to this device.Other than that, the build quality isn't anything special - doesn't look bad but feels cheap. Shouldn't really present an issue as it'll spend most of it's working life in obscurity on a shelf. On/off is via a sliding switch, and EQ/volume controls have their own buttons - this makes a nice change from the one-button-does-all pattern that most small devices seem to be following.Power is from a plug in adapter and usb cable. Powering the device from a USB powerbank works fine, but an internal battery would've been more convenient.Also comes with a selection of cables for connection to your preferred amplifier.That's about it. It's a decent device and works as advertised - especially the low latency so, despite the minor audio artefact, it gets an overall 5 star rating - though I docked a star off sound quality.

I have an older Pioneer stack system thats very retro and i love the thing as it has a great sound and a record deck and as i like playing vinyl its staying.However it is a little limited in use , well it was until i installed this little beauty.No problem connecting to the Bluetooth of my Iphone and now the old Pioneer is kicking and screaming again banging out tunes over Bluetooth.The range is great even hidden behind the unit, its so impressive being able to use the old girl with new tech.Im so happy!!
