B.K.Licht Star Light Effect Ceiling Light with Built-in 12W 1200lm Module [Energy Class G]

Bought to replace a faulty light fitting from when we moved in, and was surprised by how bright this light is. I can’t actually look right at it it is so bright. It’s a bright white, doesn’t have a blue hue to it which is great and doesn’t make the room feel cold. The sparkly effect comes from holes in the cover, which is a plastic, but honestly doesn’t look like it up. I can see why others would buy this for a child’s room or hallway, it’s actually really lovely. Wiring it up was easy for my partner, once we worked out the wires int he ceiling (our house is wired so badly), but the light is self explanatory. I’m not sure if it had fixings or not, we used our own screws. 3 to hold it to the ceiling, and then a little electrical screwdriver to put the wires in. The shade of the light twists on easily and securely. Inside there are a lot of little LEDs so no bulb changing which is great.For the price, and given how long the light should last I think this was great value for money, and I would buy again if I had need of another.The box it comes on was more like a gift box, I saw someone else mention the box.

Easy to install, lightweight light, very bright, I'd classed it as cool light rather than warm white, it's a pity there is no choice here, good light spread. The cover is dotted with small holes which I find attractive and different from the usual plain covers in lights of this style. NOTE this light does not twinkle or reflect stars are some reviewers have expected. You cannot replace the circuit board LEDs, which makes this light disposable once this fails,

Bought this for the bathroom as fed up with lights rusting. This is plastic but does not look it when on ceiling. It gives out a very bright light but there are little holes in the plastic which makes it twinkle. Would look good in any room and well worth the money.

Worth the money, and easy to install

Slight delay in delivery but not a problem for me. Well packaged - indeed the product box had a pretend ribbon decoration as if a gift! Plastic and not glass but you cannot tell when looking at it. My partner managed to install it quite easily and it is a great improvement in terms of appearance and brightness on the last fitting which had started to rush in its bathroom position and annoying needed bulbs changing. Pleased with the purchase.

They need to be installed by an electrician, and the guarantee of 2 years is inadequate. Appalling customer service. Paying a premium for LED lights and their stated longevity means these lights are misrepresented, not fit for purpose at all.

The media could not be loaded. Very pleased with this purchase. I have made a short video but I’m not sure how well it demonstrates the effectiveness of this light - it is actually quite bright in my little girl’s box room but not overpowering and does give a clever pretty twinkling effect that I’ve tried to capture.The only downside is that because it’s an LED light the bulbs can’t be replaced when they stop working, but the description states that it will have a long life so fingers crossed it lasts till my baby is old enough and wants an update.UPDATE: The light stopped working after approximately two years. It wasn’t excessively used as it was in a baby’s room so I am disappointed with how long it lasted.

Very light but well made and easy to install. I have it in my spare bedroom which measures 8ft by 6ft. Its a bit bright for such a small space, but would be ideal for a bathroom or larger bedroom.
