Something isnt right about these
These do not taste the same as I have previously had direct from candyking. Taste is a bit off and texture does not match. Packaging was as expected but still something wasn't right with these.

No longer the same :-(
These milk shake bottles were my absolute favourite! These sadly are a mere shadow of their former selves! I firstly thought they were a strange knock-off sweet. I looked up the Cloetta brand that was in the small print on the pack as well as the Candy King brand that was also on the packet and the original makers of the glorious former treat. And sadly Candy King were bought by Cloetta in 2017, so they have indeed changed and doomed the recipe. Sad times. RIP Candy King Milk Shake Bottles 😔

New Recipe = Disgusting!
It seems the recipe has changed, and these are awful now.The taste is far less flavourful than before and the texture of the entire sweet is no longer soft and gooey, but more akin to a Rowntrees Fruit Pastille that you've softened up in your mouth for a minute or two.In the past, I've bought 2 bags, both excellent. this third one I got, with this new recipe, absolutely god-awful. If you enjoyed these as a kid, DO NOT buy this version of the sweets, it will ruin them for you.

Not the same as ones I've had before
Disappointed with these they taste nothing like the ones from the cinema and are softer very sad as I spent 20 quid on 2 bags......

Don’t be disappointed like me.
Absolutely furious, these sweets are not right. Although they look the same they are more jelly like than they should be. So be aware they are nothing like the ones you find in the pick n mix at the cinema or in sweet shops. They taste like a cheap knock off you’d find at a naff market.

Give them a try
Always a favourite in a pic n mix. Pleased to find them to purchase as a large bag. Recipient was very pleased. Purchased as a stocking filler for Christmas.

Not the same as I had when I was a kid. And they are not the same as I last bought from you.
These are not the same as I used to have when I was a kid. And they are not the same as when I last bought them from you. Wont Buy again!!!!!!!!!!!! Don't remember them being ( vegetarian friendly ) before so that is probably why it taste crap now!!!!!!!!!!! :-(

Not what I was expecting
These are not the same as the candy king ones available at Tesco, the texture is different - I was a little disappointed as the ones from Tesco are my absolute favourites ☹️
