Kitten tested, mom approved!
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. My 10wk old Siamese LOVES this toy so does his catmom! I love that it doesn't require batteries, it was wonderfully priced and Bailey loves the challenge of trying to get the mouse out. It stresses him out a little bit he starts meowing incessantly because he's frustrated he 'has' the mouse but can't get it out! He leaves it alone and comes right back lol it's really fun to watch him play :)My one concern is durability. It's soooo light-weight! I wish the plastic was a heavier or denser material because I feel if he gets a little older he's gonna pull the whole toy up with his paws and it might hurt him. Also I haven't placed the toy on hardwood floor only carpet. It may need rubber grips added to the base to help secure it on hardwood floor.Again, for the value, the enjoyment of my little guy.. I'm really happy :)

This works on evil cats as well as good ones
A bored cat is a cat looking for trouble. As the old saying I am sure went before it was applied to people, “Idle paws are the Devils Plaything”. Even worse when the cat has a split personality, one part Cuddles the Kitten One part Death Star. This simple and ingenious toy works. A ball in a circular channel is accessible by paw through an opening precisely the right size to persuade the cat he or she is supposed to avoid it. Enter paw ball rolls away but wait! something is coming around the side from the other direction.! It’s a ball remarkabky similar to the one just vanquished. Strong swipe oh no another one even faster from the other direction again! Soon kitty is locked in a match to exhaustion but always wins in the end. The final exhausted pawing produces no new ball kitty has won, has saved us, and deserves a treat a lap and a snooze. Far better alternative than a mandatory five year sentence or a lobotomy and far cheaper and better for kitty. Fine quality and pays for itself in less than a week on the savings in clawed rolls of toilet paper and sculptural installations ariound the box avoided.

Finicky cat loves it!
My finicky cat was a little unsure about it at first, but he quickly warmed up to it--within minutes--and played almost non-stop for fifteen minutes. He continued to play with it off and on during the evening and I heard him playing with it at night. (It's not too loud, though). Even the second day, he's continued to play with it. Very happy to find a toy he likes! I have a big cat (fifteen pounds) and so far the toy has held up to his enthusiastic playing quite well.

Felt was not as expected but cats like it
When I first opened the box, i thought the felt scratcher on top was missing. It turns out it is just very, very thin and black-not grey and fuzzy like the pictures. That and the small size is why I took one star off. My cats are entertained by the spinning mouse though. I don’t know if it it sturdy enough to hold their weight for long if they wanted to stand on top and play but they enjoy circling it to find where the mouse has landed. I think it would be a better toy if the felt on top was actually present and thick and not the lightest covering of cloth glued over plastic.

Useless after kitten pulled mouse off arm in 15 minutes.
My 4 mo old kitten pulled the mouse off the rotating arm in less than 15 minutes rendering the toy useless. The glue used looks like elmer's glue, sticks great to the mouse, but peeled right off of the smooth plastic rotating arm.

Best toy ever!
This toy was always a favorite of all the kittens I foster. Mine was getting beyond old, although they still played with it. I looked in all the pet stores in my area and none of them carried it. I was thrilled when I found it on line and all my foster kitties are thrilled too. I’m not sure what it is about this toy but they all love it.

I also like to drop a few pieces of food in it ...
My cat LOVES this toy. She played with it for 2 hours straight when I first got it. Now its slightly less exciting, but if I get it started for her she will jump right up to play with it. I also like to drop a few pieces of food in it for her as a sort of "puzzle feeder" - she has to work at it but overall never has a significant issue getting every piece of the food out.

Cheaply made
This thing is pretty cheaply made, which is fine, it's not super expensive anyway. Broke pretty early on, cat's didn't even seem to play with it much when we tried to get them. They liked it for a solid day, then it broke within the next week.
