Dell Laptop

Definitely not a high end machine, but everything has been working great so far. Zoom meetings, streaming movies, and school work. It has handled it all with ease. Speakers are sufficient for our uses. Touch screen had been a nice feature for some using the machine. I think the only negative is that it notifies you that this device will no longer receive chrome updates due to it's age. But, for some of our older chromebooks it doesn't seem to have caused any significant issues. I'm happy with the purchase.

My wife's Chromebook recently died. Looking at the cost of a replacement battery, it was cheaper to buy this Chromebook - with exactly the same specs as her old Chromebook - than just a new battery. It arrived in great shape due to very protective packing. Upon powering it up, it functioned just like her old one (before it died :-). It's looking brand new was a huge bonus. Renewed hardware is a great way to get great prices!

Unfortunately, this Chromebook has never worked correctly. I did not realize it because now 8 months since I bought it, I've had a very traumatic life event and wasn't able to return it within the window of return back in May 2024. Still, I had no choice but to try to make it work, but it did not work correctly no matter what troubleshooting I'd been attempting. I don't know if it just doesn't even have a battery or what and that doesn't explain why there is no backlight on the keyboard that I ordered.

I bought this for my grandson's birthday. He wanted a computer and this is an inexpensive way to give him what he wants. It has a Celeron Processor which is a good, solid, little CPU, perfect for homework and basic computing, but not for gaming, (A good thing!). It also comes loaded with Windows 10 which is a robust, trouble free program that can run just about any software he needs.I gave a similar unit to his brother last Christmas and he loves it. Almost a year along it is still hanging in there, and he is an active kid. Definitely a good, low cost way to get a kid a laptop they can get good use out of.Only thing: it does not come with a mouse. Since they are inexpensive that is no biggie, but a mouse is much preferred to the touchpad, and is recommended. Just plug it in and go!It also has one downer; the disc is small. Since outboard discs are also very cheap this is also not a big deal these days. Just remember that if your user wants to do photo or video, which can fill a hard drive quickly, that this one has a low storage capacity. If you give it as a student computer that only requires texts, etc. for homework, it is probably big enough. With thumb drives costing as little as they do, such issues don't mean much these days if a bigger project comes up.

I use this laptop to handle my online business also with creating content on TikTok. I purchased the bundle with the 3 laptops together! BEST purchase I’ve made in a while ! They are great quality! Work very well ! I think 2 are touch screen ! I can leave one in one room and continue my work on another in another room. They just create a great convenience for me ! So thank you Amazon

If you need a dirt cheap little internet browsing machine this is the ticket. That being said, it is priced according to its old age and lagging performance. Do not expect blazing page loads, or running many tabs. You get what you pay for. Small, lightweight, and easy to transport. I like to minimize text, etc. to eek out more real estate on this tiny screen, but as you might guess not great for those who are hard of sight.

The keyboard on what I received is not backlit. The light to let you know if the battery is charging doesn't work either. It runs great and I loved it until it died and I haven't gotten it to turn back on. The charger was working before it died though. I'm ordering another charger in hopes that the charger sort circuited and the laptop just needs to be charged.. We shall see.

Update: a month in and it no longer charges...Returned for a refund at exactly 90 days! Its a chromebook 11 and its touchscreen to. It works really good and it has 22 GB of storage. amazing"
