Was hoping to locate screws/nails in ceiling to find joists whilst running new cables....unfortunately this magnet is not powerful enough and had to buy another that was.

This tool so strong and well built. Powerful magnet. I would recommend to buy it if you own car. Must have it in your toolbox.

Seems to be a good quality product and the magnet is strong enough for most options. Easy to put in your pocket and keep it to hand. I would think it is something everyone should have around the house in case you drop screws down tight spaces. Saves you time struggling to retrieve them.

This magnet is very powerful will easily lift a bag of Sugar (2lb +) in weight. Great for picking up those dropped screws that manage to roll under the washing machine.

Excellent tool - handy size with a strong magnet and a smooth telescopic action. It's great for finding things that are hard to see (sewing needles are experts at hiding...) i.e. I just sweep the magnet over the floor until I find what I've dropped.

Strong enough to remove a dropped bolt into an engine bay.
