This product is easy to use because the cable goes into the handle directly. It heats up quickly and is great if you have short hair.

My last haircut was shorter than usual and I needed a hotbrush with a smaller barrel. This fits the bill ideally. My reason for dropping one star is that it doesn't get quite as hot as I would like but I guess this is a safety feature as it would be easy to burn yourself if it was any hotter. It is easy to use and has done exactly what I wanted.

Wanted a small curlers as had hair cut short, this is easy to use, heats up quite quickly, and has a 'knob' on the end so you don't burn you hands and a swivel cable so can't get tangled, good value for money, cheaper than a perm...... it's the 2nd I've bought as the tines got knocked off as I wasn't using a soft holder, now have a silicon holder made for the purpose, also from Amazon.

Takes a while to reach full heat and then not as hot as other brushes I have used

I have used a Hair Tools hot brush for several years. This is my third one so far but is being kept as a spare for now (my hair is very difficult to style and I am paranoid that I wouldn’t be able to do anything with it if my current one broke and left me without one). They do last a long time and work well. The only gripe is that the switch for regulating which setting is used can be easily moved to OFF which is not what you want when in a hurry, for example. I avoid this happening by sellotaping it in place as I only use the high setting. Still better than others I have used, though, hence the 5 stars in spite of the switch. I know what I’m getting with this particular brand and it suits me and my hair very well.

I have a chin length bob and thought I'd be able to create waves with this, but now realise it's only suitable for root lift and volume on very short hair. Doesn't get very hot, even on the higher setting I was able to hold the barrel easily.

I like the size of this hair styling tool with a 13mm diameter barrel. It suits my short hair. Only drawback is that it takes a long time to heat up.
